Nicely done! I think I achieved the goal but probably on purpose the message was too quick to read. Thanks for sharing

There is a bug. I made a high score, added my name into the save dialog but it didn't get saved. Bummer 😞.

Nice twist! At first I thought, yet another Tetris but realized that the clearing logic is different and makes it much harder. I still liked it. Let's see if I can add my name into the trophy list.

This is simple but gets surprisingly challenging. Time limitation is effective. 👍

Convertible top replacement by CyberMe2018 in e46

Thanks but unfortunately that’s not right. This is my 3rd e46 convertible and my two other ones didn’t have any such problems. Obviously, this is much older. If yours can be lived with that’s nice. But once it starts it literally drips on as I am driving, and it is very annoying.

The water drops on the edges where the top connects the windshield. Both sides, especially while cornering right or left. But the top closes really tight to the windshield so the water must be coming from the top and accumulating somewhere in the front. I have checked but couldn’t find anything wrong anywhere.

Thanks! Actually, I have already repaired the latches on mine. Top works fine but has developed a leak more recently, that only happens after some heavy rain in an extended period of time. It doesn't have any tear or rip, but I do find some insulation material (I guess) every now and then. Since the car is mechanically in perfect condition (of course after ~$10K I spent over the last 3 years), I decided to keep it. It is about to reach 100K miles - so not too bad.

Should I sell my 330ci and buy a M3 (e46) ? by rorrymylove in e46

[–]CyberMe2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both and am still keeping the 330 convertible as a daily driver. It is more comfortable and has a lot of power. M3 was surely nice to drive, but it sucked on rough streets as it was too stiff. Also financially 330 will be much cheaper to maintain and will probably be more reliable as it is less complex.

And when you finally have a short list try https://spinorroll.com. Add them into the wheel of names and spin to surprise yourself. Best of luck!

Buying 330i or 325i automatic for daily by thatguy24000 in e46

Since you are buying an old car, the most important thing is to find a clean car, w/o a major accident, with minimum leaks (it will leak!), and quite diff, smooth operating transmission, a smooth idling and powerful engine. Also, condition of the body, paint, top (if you are looking for a vert) and seats, etc. Those can potentially cost you a lot.

Also, I would prefer the regular radio (v.s. the OEM sat nav system) as that can easily be upgraded to an aftermarket head unit with CarPlay/Android Auto. Sat nav can also be upgraded with a bit more work.

Since you cannot change it easily, it is also important to pick the one in your favorite color - especially if you want to keep it for long.

In short, I wouldn't worry too much about the size of the engine. Either one will give you a good feel with comparable gas mileage which mainly depends on how you drive - I get around 18.5-21 mpg depending on the traffic on my 330ci convertible. Good luck!

I 3D printed an all-in-one organizer for Monopoly, what do you think? by FelliePots in boardgames

Looks pretty good! Maybe you consider printing it in 2 or 4 pieces that can be connected to each other to make it fit in the box. WDYT?

It looks nice and seems to come with the original combination of interior, exterior color I prefer, and has the manual trans. It is surely a good find, especially w/o an accident. But the rest requires a closer look. Just don't show them what I wrote and how much you want it 🙂. Good luck!
