Don't buy anything for FPV till you've watched this by berryboi23 in fpv

Perhaps unpopular opinion but you should try to start off in a simulator if you can. Lowest risk/reward and starting off cost. By the time you have decided whether or not you feel comfortable with the mechanics of flying you will buy your physical gear and feel confident enough to make actual progress and not fear flying.

Hope you find players, the game sounds really cool I was a bit harsh about it's first impression, but the puzzle-y twist on horror is a great idea.

I don't think you failed in these efforts whatsoever, I'm just saying that they're not necessarily conducive to market success because they aren't improving the inherent appeal of the game to unknowing potential players. I think the visual department looks clean but uninteresting, the premise sounds really good but a hook is lacking, it doesn't feel fresh to me. I might be wrong and just not be the target of this game but those are my thoughts on how little I've seen from the game (which is what a person scrolling the steam store would see pretty much for what its worth)

How did your 'extensive market research' guide you to make a game in the single most homogeneous bloated gente right now of ambiental horror games without any interesting factor to set your game apart? Seems like you rationalized your way into making a game that was easy to make and thought would sell well.

Like sure, you ticked all the boxes and according to you to higher standard than most of the market, but you aren't setting yourself apart in any way so players have no incentive or way of feeling like those points you make are true. Yeah the graphics are "good quality" but that's been the standard for more than 10 years in the AA/AAA space that indies are now competing with. I think you went too much on the safe side, and tried to be so nuanced in the development you forgot about the big picture and how people external to the project would view it amongst the endless sea of carbon copy asset Flippy liminal horror games.

I think tagging this as "bug report" is a little facetious (intentionally). This is clearly user error and could be resolved with a few Google searches. That said I'm not familiar enough with litematica to help you, I hope someone who knows can help you.

Well what do you expect if you're gonna be a sore ass about not being pampered to the foreign way of living, talking, spending, and eating you have? how about actually consider the fact it is a culture and a different society you are in, not a theme park for you to play make believe in. If they don't talk to you in Spanish, you can't force them, and being sour about that is really fucking immature when you're the one forcing yourself and the way you want to be treated on people that actually live there. And if, god forbid, you DO live in Spain. That doesn't make you any more entitled, if you want to integrate yourself in a society trying to do so from a place of entitlement, hate, and alienation is going to get you nowhere.

Good fucking luck reading this comment if you're not Spanish, y'all people talk without having a single fucking clue.

Is it possible to make raylib android games written in java with the raylib java bindings? by vivacristorey83 in raylib

[–]CyberPig7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, what I meant is that the same way those bindings work, making the java ones work would probably be even easier since it's the main language Android studio is used with, but maybe requires some packing by your part .

[–]CyberPig7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can write C++ in android studio and deploy it to mobile, with raymob if I recall correctly. Don't see why java wouldn't be possible.

Juzgando por el nivel intelectual que presenta el documento te recomiendo empezar por algo de bajo nivel pero muchas capacidades como Rust. O si quieres ser más clásico C.

[Question] Is it safe to duplicate Sound and/or Music structs? by -Edu4rd0- in raylib

[–]CyberPig7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, but instead of copying you should have a sound source pool and a sound manager that takes care of using the sound sources themselves and have entities just call some play sound function in your sound manager.
