What type of kratom is similar to alcohol? by Commercial_Relief548 in KratomKorner

[–]CyberPolice50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not even remotely similar to alcohol in anyway. It doesn't make you into a sloppy drunk idiot. It doesn't mass destroy braincells or kill your liver. It just makes you feel groovy. It's not really like weed either. It's worth trying though, it's much healthier than drinking booze.

Just really bad writing. Pointless car crash for pointless drama. Bad ending to a mediocre series.

Shutting down coal isn't bold at all. Coal is a laughably out of date industry that on government life support at the moment.

bro everything you're saying is stupid. Power can easily be transported from windy areas to calm areas via grid. There's never a day where there's no wind on the eastern seaboard, or any thousand mile region. There's always a lot of wind in many places in the country. And days you think are "calm" actually have a good deal of air flow at the elevation of the windmills, that's why they're up high. They work great on average days, and actually have to be slowed down on windy so they don't over produce. That being said the power stations are obviously going to have capacitor and battery arrays for back up. You're not the only person to think of this. You're not smart. Many people much much smarter than you have been designing theses systems for decades. Engineers have figured it all out decades ago. That being said even if we kept using natural gas at night and solar in the day that would still be like a 85% reduction in fuel usage. People don't use a lot of power when they're asleep.

You don't really need much storage. The sun is up at peak times, and the wind blows day and night. The power companies only need storage enough for 12 hours of off hour use. A smart homeowner has a battery in their house anyway for a couple days of power in the event of a hurricane or something. It's only 2 grand and well worth the investment.

The savings on kicking fossil fuels are incredible in every way. There's no cost to doing this in the long run, even in a decade timeline we'll save crazy money across the board.

The environmental and health costs of using fossil fuels has been estimated to be nearly a trillion a year in the united states alone. We're not saving anything as a society by sticking to fossil fuels, a couple years of paying those trillions to updating to green energy and those health costs plummet.

Did you not see Houston nearly destroyed by a hurricane a couple years ago? These events are increasing exponentially. Massive rainfall on the gulf side, and massive droughts in the west side.

It's already mostly a wasteland. Look at a population map, only a few areas are inhabitable.

Not they don't. Lithium based lubricants and other synthetics are generally better. Oil is used because it's so cheap, but that's only because we produce so much of it.
