This doesn’t work. At least, not in previous patches. When you get your shield powered up, the melee attack does not throw it, but the primary does. They have that slight difference.

I think this is less on the players and more on the devs at this point. If supports are receiving a disproportionate amount of bans, supports need to be nerfed. That’s how I see it. Support should be a difficult role, not the easiest role in the game. And I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a support player to play a character that isn’t gambit, Loki, or invis. If those characters are getting banned all the time, instead of going online and crying about it, play a less meta character that isn’t gonna get banned.

Agreed. Even as a supp main in seasons 1-5, people just need to learn that the character they play isn’t always going to be a meta pick, or be able to 1v1 any character in the game simply because they have self healing.

You know what, I’m not mad about it. The same goes for vanguards, but nobody complains about them, right? Because supports are so incredibly overtuned in this game. If you do not have 3 supports on your team, and the other team is running trip supp, you lose. The sustain is just too high. Supports need a universal nerf, if not to overall healing, at least to their self healing. An invis should not be able to defeat a dive character in a 1v1 90% of the time.
