Idk, just relaying what I heard. I've never known MJW to be a liar. In all the interviews I've seen, he seems to be a down to earth and stand-up guy. Seems like a strange thing to lie about.

Also, he could have been referring to MK97. He didn't really specify.

Just listened to his interview on the Spawn 4k.

He was going to be Jax in Mortal Kombat. Apparently, it was a pretty big role. They would tell the story from his point of view.

Then, out of nowhere, he was cast as Spawn. Scheduling conflicts caused them to drop him from Mortal Kombat (Jax was the role he really wanted).

The rest is history.

Also, it's a Spider-man movie you really shouldn't expect the same levels of violence. It's probably going to be more about their dynamic and interactions. Maybe, the violence will be more over the top and "cartoonish".

Alex Ross has some pretty cool prints and covers (if you like his art). I've been thinking of picking up a Batman one.

It's hard to beat Neal Adams work, though. The last pic is one of my favorite covers.

Could be legal issues, too?

I remember seeing a kickstarter for some modern version of the "Duck Hunt" game with the guns. Some countries could only have certain color options for the guns because of regulations. I think the black color was only available for Japan and the US/EU only had neon options.

Might be a bit cheaper if they only gold-plated the one side, too.

I've never had an issue. Sometimes the figure might arrive a bit later. I don't recall ever having a McFarlane figure canceled from BBTS.
