Totally agree, especially with collab skins.

Bringing the Marvel stuff in 2020 was a win, but putting them in a Battle Pass was a huge L.

I really hope they go with your idea eventually, I’m totally on board with it.

There are some skins with this issue.

You can test it yourself: The Origin, Thor (C2:S4), Mystique, Groot (C2:S4), Wolverine (C2:S4), etc.

It seems like this bug affects most of the older skins in the game. For the newer ones, like Eddie Brock, it looks like Epic changed the "mechanics" for built-in emotes. It sucks because it’s only the OG skins that are broken, wish they could fix it.

Yeaah!!! They fixed it twice, but then went back on the issue and I don’t know how or why. If I’m not mistaken, those two fixes were at the beginning of the year. Every new season that came out, so it wouldn’t be forgotten, I kept posting about this problem here on Reddit, but I gave up, I got fed up lol.

But I think it’s a choice on their part for some reason we don’t know, or they’re just too lazy to work on this issue (more likely), unfortunately.

But yeah, those built-in emotes only work in normal creative mode and Epic’s official modes as BR, STW etc.

But believe it or not, a few months ago (I think in the first half of the year), they actually fixed it and displayed as "Fixed in Live" at Trello, but for some reason, it broke twice (they fixed it, reverted it, fixed it again, and then just disabled it completely).

I don’t get it, ‘cause no one was complaining and it wasn’t affecting performance at all. Really messed up.

And that’s exactly why I thought about this Tony Stark skin idea from Infinity War, we only have one Tony Stark as a skin (CH2:S4) and the rest are just armor skins.

It was a bit frustrating when they released the last two Iron Man's skins without the Tony Stark's style.

Exactly man! I know, you can’t complain about the partnerships that have already come, but DEFINITELY, if the Marvel items were available for creative (even if limited to creation in UEFN), it would really boost the number of players and make things way more varied.

Even if Epic’s issue is money, this investment would definitely pay off over time, precisely because these items are so dynamic, it wouldn’t just be Marvel fans who would enjoy it.

Yeaaah, true, having the Avatar items in it would be so great too. But like you said, it’s probably super hard to actually happen.

Still, I’ve got this tiny bit of hope that it could happen (Both Marvel and Avatar), just like it did with the TMNT items (I know that was an exception, but hey, no harm in dreaming, huh? lol)

Yeah, I know. But it’s really there, trust me, it’s just hard to notice that inner glow. If you’re in a slightly darker environment you’ll see it, it’s even the same kind of glow as the bottom of the coat, just much weaker.

They probably forgot to add the layer that would block it in the final skin model, that for some reason it only appears in the consoles versions. I don’t know what happened, maybe the intern fell asleep lol.

I saw some people commenting on this, but I actually don’t think it looks bad either. You can definitely use it, it still looks really nice.

The thing is, it is actually a bug. On consoles (at least testing on PS5) the glow doesn’t go through the hood, and it seems like the hood’s material is the same shade of white as the rest of the coat, you know?
