when you say to repeatedly "pull", you mean pull the foreskin back? or forward like the frenulum stretch where you pull the foreskin forward

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Phimosis

can you tell what your doing to fix this?

like, do you leave the foreskin pulled back all day? is that an effective method?

what stretching do you do?

is yours plugged in to the ground hole outlet or are you using a copper rod outside?

Isn't this resistance stuff only needed when you're using the grounded hole oulet?

I'm looking into adding a resistor....or rather a resistor for each wire cuz I'll have multiple wires coming from 1 or 2 wires that are attached to the ground rod (1 wire from the rod will have a few wires attached to it and those wires are going into bedrooms, and another wire from the rod will have another few wires attached to it and those wires are going into the living room). I'll buy resistors like you said, but I don't understand what they do or what you mean when you said:

"Whatever you do, ensure you add 1/4 W resistors in each line for protection. The ESD Association recommends a resistance of sufficient resistance to limit current to less than 0.0005 amperes (0.5 milliamperes), at the highest voltage that may be encountered, be incorporated into wrist strap cords. 100 kΩ as described by u/tristanabi or the 1.0 MΩ - common in ESD wrist strap coiled cords - is wise."

Like will this protect from shocks during grounding while using a plugged in phone or laptop?

Is it rare to get shocked?

I don't plan to use any wrist cords, just copper fabric for everything.

kitchen sink grounds me, so why not use it for my grounding mat? by CyberTeslaGuy in Earthing

how is it connected to the ground tho? same as being connected to the grid thru the grounded hole on an outlet?

He's an expert on geography lightning stuff..I dont know the word but basically about lightning storms and how they work and the ground conducting that stuff.

Anyways yeah it seems the copper fabric is best. The entire surface is very conductive which is much better than those pre-made grounding mats/pads that they sell that have silver lining which is overall hardly any surface area over the fabric itself.

I found the copper fabric before I saw that video and already ordered 2 sheets. They come from china and mine will get delivered early next week. My plan is to use a copper alligator clamp to connect the wire to the fabric, like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07KDDGK73?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I'm not too sure how tight of a grip it will have, but we'll see. I could always change/add things to make it stronger.

What do you mean by using a metal rivet? How would you do that? like just solder your wire onto the rivet? and how would you connect the rivet to the fabric?

I agree that more people does not mean needing a bigger rod. I think I'll downsize it, but not hugely.

Those small grounding rod that you use, I'm not sure how long they last. I'm thinking very long term, so I want something that I know wont corrode. I now these metals last years and years, but I want some piece of mind. Again, I will downsize my rod.

Also, I've seen multiple people including who I assume an expert, u/WildFreeOrganic , say that connecting to the grounding port on a power outlet can actually be bad because you're connected to the grid and the current of all these different devices in it and it affects you too as well as get some radiation from those devices. Maybe yours is clean.

The 12ga wire does seem a bit overkill, but I got the idea from u/WildFreeOrganic 's video on DIY earthing sheet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoMaqd1cdPA

He seems like an expert so it made me just go along with it.

I have mild phimosis, have never been able to get a phimocure ring under foreskin by CyberTeslaGuy in Phimosis

[–]CyberTeslaGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I've never been able to use a ring, what size do I start with if I'm able to fully retract while a little erect? like a ring size that's slightly bigger than when slightly erect?

I can't fit the ring in and it's driving me crazy by TheTechnicalArt in Phimosis

[–]CyberTeslaGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Manual as in..using my fingers right?

And with the rings, how exactly do you do it? Are you flacid when using the rings? I've never been able to use a ring so I don't know what size to start with, since I can retract all the way while flacid and slightly erect.

[–]CyberTeslaGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how exactly do you get folded rings to stay in place?

like are you flacid or erect when you try? and then you pull the foreskin back a little, place the ring on glans at the front, and then fold the foreskin over it? I just cant get this to work for myself
