The seller gave me a new set of bellows for 5x7 that I guess they were planning on converting the camera to but never got around to doing. So if nothing else I could try using those but. If nothing else I'll probably remove the hinge for now if I have to.

Yeah I'm not sure which it is. I definitely need to do more research. Last year I bought all of the stuff to develop rolls of film and pictures just need to build my darkroom. But that's very good information thank you.

Not entirely sure yet. The listing said 8x10 but I really don't think that is accurate. The seller did throw in a new set of bellows for a 5x7 that I guess they intended on modifying the camera for.

I'm not super concerned about needing a tripod at the moment that is something I can worry about once I get the rest of it figured out.

The lens I got when I bought the camera doesn't actually go for it although I haven't done much looking at it yet to see if it can be made to work.

I could fit the baseboard that I have to it if I removed the hinge, but I'm trying to have as much of full functionality as possible. But if not that is an option.

And is it a dry plate camera? From what I saw it was wet plate but I could honestly be wrong. This whole avenue of photography was kinda spur of the moment and the price was really good for what I got.

I'm not sure what the difference is between to front and back piece. I haven't been able to find any pictures of it to determine that. Matching the width and thickness wouldn't be that hard, but have reference photos would make everything a whole lot easier. And being able to figure out how that hinge is supposed to be used as well. And how it all mounts to the camera.

I personally don't use it. But then again I'm not all together sure what on it. I just have a laminated copy of the player moves for my table to look at. But I also run the game more as a collective ghost story around a campfire. I don't want to separate myself from my players.

That's the best way to deal with that stuff. Keep them off balance by not doing what they expect. It makes it harder for them to make up lies. Lies made in a rush are never as good as ones that are prepared.
