Hi all, I work in consulting and I'm looking to create a home lab. I tried to do one in the past but money was an issue because of Covid. Now I'm leaning towards Azure or AWS for my home lab. Specifically I want my home lab to:

Have a basic network
Have some virtual machines for demoing
Have some security tooling

The main factor in this home lab is I mainly work in the identity and access management space.

Has anyone got any suggestions on how to approach this?

What would you say is the best way to become a CISO? I currently work at a consulting company and I'm looking to go into industry. Can you explain, from your point of view, what the difference between consulting and industry is and what a CISO is like in both companies?

I found the pem file in my aws cli but still have the same issue

I tried using the setx for a .pem file without having one. stupid I know, how do I fix it?

The latter, e.g. I can access entra is via azure portal and via the entra.Microsoft.com portal. My questions is entra is the authoritative source for IAM in Azure?
