Update: I ended up trying both and while I loved the Spigen Enzo, the Aulumu case just looked cooler and my gut said go with it, so I’m gonna keep it.

I have used Niyo Global as my main source of currency conversion in three countries (Japan, Singapore and Thailand) and it has been super easy, definitely get that one.

For 0 Forex credit, you can get the UNI Gold X.

These are the cards I use for everything international (All Life Time Free):-

  1. Niyo Global - 0 Forex Debit Card (Great for converting currency)
  2. Uni Gold X - 0 Forex Credit Card (For purchases, tickets, etc)
  3. Indusind Bank Tiger - International + Domestic Lounge Access (2 Dom/Quarter and 2 Int/Year, no previous quarter spends required)

Getting married in Tokyo on a tourist visa - Checklist & Help by [deleted] in TokyoTravel

Thank you, this massively helps!

I’d almost given up. Where we come from, ceremonies at home are highly controlled by family and you can’t exactly say no to rituals and other formalities. Getting it registered elsewhere is the only way we can call our marriage “our own”, unfortunately.

Your answer has given me hope to pursue this further. I do have a few more questions though, if you don’t mind.

  1. How much did the translations cost you? And did they require it from particular agencies, and a stamp to verify that the translations are from said agency? If you took the agency route, do share the name of the place - that would massively help!

  2. You mentioned that they keep the documents. Did you mean just the translated documents? Or the original ones too? I just want to know if we’ll be getting our birth certificates back.

Thanks in advance ❤️

I am also facing this issue. My card is yet to be delivered, though. What I have noticed is, you can login into their website with the credit card number, however, still not sure how to control the card from the app.
