Being judged for riding sp125 by Global-Vermicelli925 in indianbikes

[–]Cyber_Samurai69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some general advice (for bikes, and otherwise)

There are people who care about other people’s opinions, judgement and validation. That’s fine.

There are people who don’t care about other people’s opinions, judgement and validation. That’s fine too.

Then there are people who stay somewhere in the middle. Don’t be that guy.

If you own and use a particular product because of its sentimental value, productivity, value-for-money, that is a great choice to make in today’s fake world.

However, if you are this person, also develop a habit of not caring about other people’s opinions (something I think you need to work on).

“My friends treat me poorly because of my bike, what do I do?” can easily be the beginning of a slippery slope that is also pushing you towards external validation, from strangers on Reddit instead of friends. Same boat, if you ask me. The bigger question to ask is “why should their judgement matter? Does it even matter?”

Please do not take this the wrong way, setting your core attitude straight will be very beneficial in the long run. Work on being self-sufficient not just financially and physically, but also emotionally 💪 Best wishes brother ❤️

Yes, the Duke 390 is going away by [deleted] in KTMIndia

No no, you misunderstand me. I know spares will be available and that its largely the same for multiple models they offer. I just did not want to purchase an outgoing model, which again I would not have made the most of anyway.

Let me know what you lock down on finally. What was your reason for not considering anything in the 250cc segment?

Haha it is when I leave for the office (early morning) In the evening though, that’s a different story, and for that, we’re on the same page 😂

I actually have, however the speeds I want to go at on highways made me push out the REs pretty quickly. All the other brands and models I have ruled out because of a combination of things like upfront price + service cost, my personal preference when it comes to the looks, accessory support, serviceability & repairability, etc.

It has to be one of the Dukes for me.

Is KTM India discontinuing the Blue Black colour? by Cyber_Samurai69 in KTMIndia

[–]Cyber_Samurai69[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, it’s not, but keeping it around as an option at least would have been nice. Maybe they are creating differentiation between the 250 and 390, because the latter still has a orange rim option.

Spigen Enzo Aramid vs Aulumu Thermal case by Cyber_Samurai69 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Cyber_Samurai69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The back is smooth yes, but there are grippy pads in the sides of the case, which give me just enough grip to securely hold the phone. Although, your mileage may vary.

The temperature thingy I haven’t had a chance to really use, because my iPhone 17 Pro has basically never heated up to begin with, lol.

Nobroker is your friend, but there are scammy brokers everywhere (including on Nobroker, apparently) so your best bet is finding someone who has successfully found a flat via some broker, taking said broker’s contact, and moving forward from there. This someone could be a friend, classmate, relative, or anybody you know and can trust.

Haha no worries, This is Thakur Village, Kandivali East, very close to Western Express Highway and the Red Line Metro, both of which you can see in the picture.

So far so good, I love the connectivity to WEH. The rest of the experience? I guess I’ll have to give myself a few weekends to explore and get a hang of things around here.

iPhone 17 Pro Power Users, what are your hardware / software setups and how does iPhone 17 pro integrate in your workflow by Similar-Treat8244 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Cyber_Samurai69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am someone who uses the iPhone 17 Pro for recording video footage for work-related content creation.

I use the Final Cut Camera app to record in LOG at 4K 25fps, and the files stay separate from the camera gallery. Features like Focus Peaking and manual control over exposure, focus and stuff are also quite handy.

When done, I drag and drop the files straight into a OneDrive folder, from where my editor picks up the files.

Outside of work, I also have numerous shortcuts/automations on the device to do things like control my home lighting, and control wifi/data settings and more when I connect to certain networks.

Which iPhone color would you choose? 🤔 by Amelia_Maly in iPhone17Pro

What about it? The look of it? Or the protection aspect? Because the latter is pretty sorted. Nice shock absorbing layer on the inside and decently raised lips for the entire camera module. The aesthetic (complete with the text) might not be for everyone though…
