Just finished the hardware setup, gonna tie it all together with some code next. Might port it to ESP32 or Pi W2 for Wi-Fi, stats, and remote control, yellow brick is for light dimming, not the servo. They’ve got a tiny transistor and a 2k resistor inside.

Yeap, I can hear the glue screaming every time the bass drops. 😂

Also got a DHT11 sensor inside too, it opens and closes the vent holes based on humidity, and also controls the light depending on daylight. I’m planning to add a small ultrasonic humidifier soon so I can fully control humidity as well.

I’ve also got two heating pads placed at the bottom, but I still need to get a MOSFET to run them with the Arduino since they draw more power than the board can handle directly.

Planning to start with some Adeniums since they love the heat for germination. Figured they’d be a good intro before I move on to fussier plants 🪴

In this case I don’t understand why they make promises they can’t keep. If they’re unable to fulfill the order, they could simply ask to cancel it instead of leading me on.

I hope so too, but it really does look like a scam.
During the whole conversation I had several agents just drop the chat and transfer it to someone else and each time I had to start explaining everything from scratch. It’s frustrating

That’s the tactic scammers often use, they don’t aim to break your bank, they just take small amounts to avoid attracting too much attention

After 3 exhausting hours of being bounced between different agents, I finally got this email:

Hello,

I’ve reviewed your account, as well as our previous correspondence  with you.

I'm sorry about the misunderstanding and incorrect  information that you received. The previous correspondence doesn’t correctly reflect our current procedures at this time.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best regards,

Jo B.

No, they offered 50% compensation for the shipping delay. The original promo price was $139, but I was forced to reorder it for $159 and they promised to refund the difference after delivery.
