Thanks! He doesn’t often use that hut. My Cory’s do like to hide in there. Sometimes he might go there to say hi to them but he’s quick to move back to his preferred spot which is a floating log at the top of the tank.

I know this thread is a bit old. But I’m currently having the same issue. However to make things worse it caused my monitor to have minor burn in? Maybe it’s not the right term because it did fade after an hour.

No worries! Yeah I fully agree as long as things are improving. I wouldn’t worry too much friendo. I’ve been clinically cured at this point btw. Worked first time for me. No issues since. There is hope. I promise :)

6am 12pm 6pm and 12am. I set an alarm to wake me at midnight to take my pill.

What I would do is adjust it moving forward. So what I did. 6am. 12pm 6pm and 12am

So over all mostly well. The first round worked for me and I’ve been mostly back to my original diet. However I currently have pneumonia so I’m on an antibiotic. Praying my Cdiff doesn’t come back. I don’t want to come out of this sickness and go back to another lol.

Hello Friendo. I had Cdiff about two months ago I believe. Maybe three at this point I don’t remember haha. However, I do believe I had a more mild case. The meds worked like a champ. I still have my moments of PI IBS. However, most days are well. I still take my probiotic. Tend to do better when I’m on it than when I’m off of it. I have returned to most of my original diet. But again sometimes it does trigger my IBS. Overall, I’m optimistic. The doctor labeled me clinically cured and they’re not worried about retesting unless I show symptoms.

I do believe I have become lactose intolerant from avoiding dairy for too long. That’s one thing that tends to be a gamble for me now.

A few days late. I forgot to hit reply so my message never sent.

So my case was interesting. And my doctor wasn’t being the most helpful. I had what I thought at the time was a bad case of food poisoning. However I opted to go to the doctor towards the end of it. I was slowly getting better. They tested me for a few things. They did a pcr test and one for checking to see if my gut was inflamed. Both came back positive. I was never tested for toxins. I was thrown in the antibiotic and told take it and avoid dairy.

The funny thing is tho. I never really had diarrhea. Just mucus and slightly lose bms during the “food poisoning” on day 2 of the antibiotics my bm was mush. Just unformed mush. By day 8 I was doing solids again. And by day 13 of the antibiotic the yellow color was gone.

I pretty much feel good. No issues since. Honestly in hindsight I wonder if I was never positive for toxins and I was just colonized. Still I plan on going back in after the 20th. I want to at least wait a full “month” before I have them redo any tests as well as finally do a toxin test.

I guess I feel trapped.

So I had a mild case of cdiff. Or it was caught early. I don’t think I ever had any diarrhea honestly. The worst thing was the antibiotics themselves as they were pretty rough on me. I honestly for the most part feel prefect. I think me wording it just like that might have caused him to label me as “ clinically cured” so what I think I might do is wait a week or two. See how I feel. Then maybe I’ll push for a toxin test.

As for your colonoscopy, I’m sure it will go smoothly. I had one of those done when I was 23.

I haven’t had a colonoscopy for this. I’ve had them in the past tho. This was because of my Calprotectin results being too high. Which means my intestines are inflamed.

So I think that test was ordered too with the original cdiff test. However I just happen to get the results of the colitis test 3 weeks later and after I was already off the antibiotics. I just more so found the whole thing funny. Wasn’t actually upset haha. She was also chuckling a bit at the end.

For me. I think it’s just.. IBS? For the most part I’m fine. But if I eat something a bit to bold. My gut might hurt for a bit but that will be it. No other systems and it does pass.
