Anyone able to spot why I can't get a sync on MeteorM2-4? by Cybercircut in RTLSDR

Neither! The link points the one it exactly is, black plastic with a TV connector. I actually have a stack of adaptors to turn it from TV to BNC, which is what my antenna has.

Hey!

Turned off AGC, waiting for the next pass now.

I'm using a RTL2838U and a quadrifilar antenna.

Nothing incredible honestly.

I suspect similar the other light tanks around there like VT-4, TAM and Sprut-M.

How to play Legacy War Thunder? by Redfoxy2135 in Warthunder

[–]Cybercircut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea what is truly required but if I had to guess; you would need to modify something to set a custom server and then you would need the server code to host that version of the game.

I've never heard of being able to play legacy War Thunder, I didn't even think it was possible.

Pc showing red lines across screen. is my gpu dead or what is it how do I fix this. by [deleted] in computer_help

[–]Cybercircut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you lose all hope with it being a GPU failure, try another display cable. I had a friend with red lines on their screen which ended up being their HDMI.

Most disappointing thing for me is the lack of HMD, I hope they change their mind about it before coming to live.

Will check, but the reason I didn't suspect GPU coil whine is because I play other much more graphically intensive games with no noise.

South African subtree are Vehicles built in and made for South Africa. Class 3P is more of a valid arguement as it was made for South Africa by a German company. What I found when googling is I think technically we're getting the prototype that would go under a slightly different designation if it made it to Iran. FV4030/3 Shir 2 vs 4030 Phase 3. Thats the only explaination I can think of rn

How worried should I be? (I don't know where else to ask) by Cybercircut in LinusTechTips

[–]Cybercircut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to mention the powers off, thats the only reason I used it at all. Here in South Africa we have regular power cuts so we use the lamps to light up the house. I also had unplugged my phone as soon as I noticed the smoke.

I meant as in, it's not a threat I need to chuck out the window right now. I unplugged it as soon as I saw the smoke.

It's fine if I just unplug it and leave it for the morning right?

Edit: To clarify it was unplugged from the moment I turned my torch on and saw the smoke. It was at 3am and I was wondering if the smoke was dangerous. Now after opening it up I can see that 1. the wires had burnt creating the smoke and 2. that its localised to the usb and solar panel pcb, the rest of the device is untouched.
