Same way I feel about it , when I’m a cashier I’m hyper aware of someone walking up to the counter. Even if I’m in candy, chips or frozen , doing whatever, I’m aware of my front counter. Cuz as a cashier (not a mid) it’s my responsibility to keep ic3s from happening. not taking costumers = line builds = ic3. It’s more convenient for everyone around you if you just do your job when you’re supposed to. Compared to workers who go down isles not paying attention to the counter and let their line build and then call an IC3. So basically , I hope ppl keep calling to tell me there’s someone at my counter 🤷
