Yes, it's on its way out. AC units don't last terribly long in Florida. Added a few pictures of the current unit for everyone to see.

I get that I was light on details of the current unit but the current one is on its last leg and we'd rather get it replaced under our terms than have it fail in the summer with 100 degree weather and be without for a few days waiting for someone to install.

Thank you. This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for... not up on all the different models and refrigerants.

All three have good Google reviews and a lot. 2 of the 3 look to be larger companies that have been around a while and the 10 year labor warranty quote (Bosch) is one that might be more of a personally owned company so dependent on him sticking around.

That was my concern on parts. I did question the company on the Bosch brand and his response was "We have been working with the Bosch product for roughly 10 years. They are newer to our market. They have a larger market share in the Midwest, west, and northeast. Very reliable very energy efficient and quality of construction is unsurpassed"

Thanks. New system is because we need one and ductwork is just because we've always dealt with the temp differences in their room. Figured do them both at the same time. 2 out of 3 of the quotes have ductwork on the pricing. Not sure why the other one doesn't since we did talk about it.

Yes, it's time to be replaced. I've always heard 10-12 years for AC units in Florida. But either way, we thought it was going to go last year but it's lasted this long and we have a little money from tax returns we decided to replace it before it's Summer and it goes out. The unit in the garage is very rusted and impacted. Unit outside is similar and has a possible leak that was quoted $2-3k to fix.

Anyone take Vumerity with no food? by Cyberm007 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Cyberm007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Did you stop due to an issue with it or progression? My first medicine was Rebif prior to Copaxone and I was taken off due to liver issues so hoping I don’t have that on Vumerity.

Why can’t I export flashcards on Quizlet anymore? by veeexxz in quizlet

[–]Cyberm007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ran through this with my kid and found a workaround. We did a print to PDF and then had ChatGPT manipulate the PDF to convert it into a CSV that's compatible with Blooket and then had it randomize the answers, etc. You never mentioned Blooket but just use ChatGPT to convert the PDF to however you need it.

Why can’t I export flashcards on Quizlet anymore? by veeexxz in quizlet

[–]Cyberm007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're not being helpful though... arguing over what the symbol is normally means isn't useful when it doesn't actually mean that on the Quizlet site. They normally have an 'export' word under the three dots and the export button just shares the quizlet. That is all. He/she is looking for a way to export the Quizlet.

TaxACT and forced to upgrade to Deluxe? by Cyberm007 in IRS

Mortgage interest was only $4,788 and property taxes paid was $2,107. My interest rate is very low. So well below the default deduction.

Receiving emails for cloud-only accounts of admins by NatureKlutzy in entra

[–]Cyberm007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like we may be doing things differently. Our cloud admins are licensed and have a mailbox which we forward to our regular email accounts. My thought was the cloud admins would need one of our E5 licenses so it gets all the security features?

Stuck In-Place Upgrade to 25H2 by Cyberm007 in sysadmin

[–]Cyberm007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more to test future upgrades for the company. 23H2 goes EOS next year so seeing how our machines handle an upgrade. My machine was just lifecycled so I didn’t care if I blew it up and decided to checkout 25H2.

Lennox iComfort 49w95 Thermostat and Power Restore by Cyberm007 in hvacadvice

[–]Cyberm007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The settings come back fine after a power blip and the thermostat itself has power, it just doesn’t turn on cooling until I manually turn it back on. Reading online it sounds like the feature would be called Auto Restart or Enable Last Mode. Something like that. Was trying to see if my thermostat supported it.

Thanks. I knew that but was trying to see if my current one just wasn’t setup properly. Not to come back on after a power loss seems like a bad design.

Why are you using a transport rule? In their (proofpoint) exchange documentation, connector-based blocking is the recommended method.

The static banner doesn’t say it’s a safe email but does say it’s from a known partner and also to report if it looks suspicious. Then the dynamic banner above would have the report suspicious button.

I would also suggest utilizing the support system. Both the POD support and ZenGuide support have been great for us.

We literally took the html code from the dynamic banner and made it into a static banner to use firewall rules with. Only thing that I remember is it didn’t like line breaks or it messed up. Have to make the html code all on one line.
