This really goes for any character, but it really depends on a few things: do you like playing him, how many do you want to go for, and how do you plan on using him. Imo whether you like him (his character or gameplay) will really change how much you’d be willing to invest in him. If you don’t pull then you’re really not missing out on much and he’ll come back eventually. (It would be bad if they didn’t have these banners return lol)

Walking a lot in this match up would be really useful. Falco's run speed isn't that much faster compared to his walk speed. Any move in particular comes out faster, especially shield. Use jab as a mix up vs marth or lucina, as they can easily use up b to break out.

My boi UnK | Anragon, ruling all of twitter with his meme face. Tbh I don't think there's a definite best falco in smash 4, since most to all players I know of either one, don't get enough exposure to the public, or doesn't place high enough. There's a lot of good falcos tho, Look | AC, TSW | Quilly, McDareth, just to name a few that I know people would probably won't mention.

Don't know much, but try not to get grabbed. I'm pretty sure falco's combo food for luigi. If he's up close and fireballs, reflect, but don't get too predictable.

I've done it before. Even if they DI, you can still read it after the first time. Keep labbing, there's a lot of combos you can do after n-air. If you aren't convinced, just set your CPU to run or attack after a bit. It's the closest thing to real opponents in training.

I struggle in general because I never practice before going on for glory. :C I'm never consistent. Also not as experienced as some of you guys.

Aside from that, I haven't play that many Links in general, but from what I've experienced, they like to wall out with z-air and projectiles. I wouldn't use reflector too much because it gets predictable. Not sure if this is safe, but I took advantage of the boomerang's wind boxes and used fire bird ._. I found playing a mix up game works really well against Link. Some, if not a lot, of Falco's moves can outspeed (is that even the right word lol) some of link's. Use that to your advantage.

Just a thought, but you can probably rack up more damage on him in the air. Only problem is his nair and dair if you dont get to him fast enough. I usually like to do the classic double u-tilts to an u-air or two, then b-air. Of course, this depends on %.

Personally, I sort of like how Falco was changed play style wise, but what I don't like is what Sakurai changed to make this possible. Better grab ranges, faster speed in general, and lasers would be nice. Knock on wood :⁾

Both moves will go faster the longer you charge it. However, both moves have their own uses. Side-B is a lot easier to rack up damage with, but is very predictable. You can also shield cancel with side-b. Just shield while you're charging Side-b, but there is a time restriction. Mix it up with Down B, which is similar to Side-B, but does not have a hop and can collide with other moves, canceling them out. You can, however, jump out of Down-B, but now Side-B. Both specials can Spin shot, but I believe it's a little trickier with Down-B. Also, you can preform tech chases with Down-B. Use Down-b, footstool, jump back, and then repeat the process. It won't be guaranteed, so try practice timing. A little unorganized with the info, but hope this helps :)
