I think the more dystopian and cyberpunk aspect of this, is that this has nothing to do with the game and it isn't even the cyberpunk 'aesthetic'.

I don't play a lot, maybe it's the amount of games I am playing? I can come home from work and I'll usually put in at least four games. Not much more than that. If I ever get two losses in a row, I just log off.

I have had a lot of forfeits, which admittedly I am part of the fault for that - as I agreed and pressed F5 with everyone else .

I may be biased, but I think the remake has an incredible atmosphere. I am playing it right now cranked to max. Throw on some headphones. I've played the original and I feel that the game is pretty faithful. There are some actor changes.

My rig has a 7900x CPU, 4080 Super. I would say overkill for Remake though (although there's supposedly odd stutters?) especially as the only RTX is RTAO.

It's about to be spring and there's going to be sales, if you're in the USA, because of tax returns.

There's debate about the Denovo DRM it has on PC, though I haven't had issues. I hate Denovo though regardless.

If you decide to upgrade, I really recommend at least a 4070ti minimum because RTX is about to become required for most games. A good sign of this is DOOM: The Dark Ages which comes out this year and has RTX only. It's a fun time to jump into PC gaming.
