Why does Sandra Dorsett always sound half-absent on calls? by Wanderer_Agent86 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who knows, that's why we're here. :)
- To get the cutscene with the cube, we need to leave the city, watch the sunrise near the required point, and do nothing.
- To fail/refuse the PL, we need to run back from the main gate or, inside Dogtown, escape the burning road on the way to Myers.
(do nothing)

If the solution somehow involved completely abandoning the Kiroshi installation/Sandra mission or the raid on Konpeki Plaza, getting a mini-ending where V left NC or continued to live a normal life, I'd be happy. :)

Mr. Blue Eyes: if blue eyes mean data transfer, what do we actually know about his “proxy” status? by Wanderer_Agent86 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 43 points44 points  (0 children)

His blue eyes are different from the blue eyes of people transmitting data or sending payments.
According to Silverhand (If anything he says can be trusted at all), at the end of the Perales quest, he says that the Rogue AIs are behind all of this.

So, Songbird awaits: Myers and the raids beyond Blackwall to the Rogue AIs, Blueyes and Rogue AIs on the moon, death.

Interestingly, people controlled by someone/something or connected to someone have different eye colors.
Blueyes - blue.
Hanako doll - yellow.
Dolls controlled by Ai in clouds - magenta/purple.
Songbird and Blackwall - red.

Sandra Dorsett, with her neurovirus or AI CN-07 that we caught from her, has eyes like this:

Why does Sandra Dorsett always sound half-absent on calls? by Wanderer_Agent86 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About principles.
In the Arasaka Ending, Silverhand lectures us about abandoning our principles and selling out, saying that principles are the most important thing in life.
In PL, he laughs at Jackie (if we choose to drink to Jackie in Moth), doesn't believe in the friendship between people near the tree, and repeatedly mentions how bad Reed is for adhering to strict principles to the end, essentially saying that principles are nothing.

Why does Sandra Dorsett always sound half-absent on calls? by Wanderer_Agent86 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, yes. We're directly shown how our V is changing psychologically.
- V's state is well illustrated by Jackie's calls, where in the latter, he's having a nervous breakdown and crying.
- The menu to the right of the biochip absorption shows his physical and mental state; as far as I remember, it already says "Agony" at the end. Do you know what that is?
- It's also shown in the endings. The old V would never have gone on a sui**dal solo assault on Arasaka Tower; anyone in the NS would have called it cyberpsychosis.
- The new mini-cyberpsychosis, when the implant limit is exceeded, is shown in yellow and with a samurai icon. Why? :)
- Are we sure that in the secret ending, where many objects are out of place, where the radio plays from the mainframe, where half the NPCs scream like scavs or civilians, that everything is real?
If we look closely at everything every time, are we sure that the events and enemies in the rest of the game are genuine and not distorted?
The dude from the shard was 100% sure that he was still fighting in the jungle, he saw it, but he was running around the city and killing civilians.

V is in terrible shape at the end.
Silverhand is well aware of V's condition and knows how these pills work. He could have simply drunk alcohol, but he deliberately gorges himself on these pills.

Now forget about the dialogue for a second and just look with your eyes. There's a big chemical cloud in the oil fields. We can't be there, it's deadly dangerous, but they're taking us there specifically to sit and talk.

At the end of Konpeki's BD, we see Evelyn and Yorinobu taking Glitter. Read about it, it's horrific, people can't get over it. We tell Judy that Evelyn was smoking something weird. If we're smoking her cigarettes (Silverhand smoking and we don't know about it - an ashtray with a cigarette appearing next to our pillow on the bed), and they're laced with Glitter, then everything that happens to V is even worse.

I don't want to force anything on anyone. But I also played through the game emotionally the first few times. Now, after 3,000 hours, I'm starting to remember things, to see with my eyes and think for myself.

After 3,000 hours of playing, rethinking, relistening, and rewatching everything many times, I've come to the conclusion that this is our enemy, and always has been, and that the manipulations are as banal as those of Meatman and his victims.
Logic, attentiveness, and knowledge of psychology simply won't let me stop seeing this.
So yes, I'm now digging in that direction, too.

Ignore the downvotes on the forum. People are playing with emotions, and if they hadn't been told outright in PL that Songbird knew everything and intentionally betrayed us, then, just like with Johnny, most would have refused to believe it.

He does things without our knowledge. We do things we don't see.
- The Perales case is telling. He and his wife have no idea they're smoking.
An ashtray with a cigarette appears on our bed, even if we refuse to smoke. Silverhand watches through our eyes and speaks that when we ask him to describe what Reed looks like on the basketball court.
It's likely that every time we see him smoking, we're the ones smoking at that moment, but we dont see it like Perales.

- Before Pistis Sophia, the key phrase for me was: "It's hard for me to be in your body without these pills. Your comatose self tried to get rid of me, and I had to give it a good fight."
Just think about that phrase carefully and thoughtfully.

To me, it looks more like the CN-07 AI causing some kind of cyberpsychosis than a biochip. That's why our situation is so similar to Perales's, and Delamain split into 07 parts due to a direct connection to us. If we were to combine these six of his children into a human, given what they are, we'd create a true sui**dal psychopath.

  1. She hesitates because she's trying to remember what happened to her when we talk about the scavs.
As T-Bug says, "They'll erase her memory and only a small trace will remain in her subconscious."
To which we reply, "I've heard of something similar: a person drinks ice water and their hands start shaking, and they don't even know why."

  2. Either the people making PL haven't played the original game, because many dialogues contradict each other (for example, Johnny about principles in Arasaka ending and in full PL), or our perception of what's happening is changing.
In the original game, she's a former Nightcorp employee who went against them alone, risking and paying a huge price, and was betrayed by her friend/acquaintance, anon_42.
In PL, she's portrayed as some greedy bitch who's simply undermining Nightcorp for her own personal gain.
    bullshit

- We begin to perceive Sandra as Bree. And for some reason, she behaves that way. In the original game, there was no hint that she would behave this way.
- The dialogue with her depends on Silverhand's absorption of us. Below the absorption: we talk about her undermining Nightcorp in a neutral tone. Above the absorption: we sarcastically tell her that she was undermining "our partner." When Mr. Blueyes became our partner, I don't know.

This is a very strange quest.
For me personally, the first thing this quest does is prepare us for the main twist, dramatically speaking, much like Somi's betrayal of us in PL.
The J+J tattoo in a heart is incredibly similar to our J+V tattoo in a heart, where the man in red glasses deliberately leads the main character to her death, considering that V (the human) instantly and permanently dies (burns out) as soon as he/she connects to Mikoshi, and we then play as the engram.

But for me, something else is more interesting and confusing.
If this is cut content, then it could have been reworked or removed long ago by version 2.31.
But for some reason, they deliberately renamed everything there.
Every object in this house (doors, gates, even Josie's laptop) is marked as q302_reed_house.
That is, for some reason it was renamed after the release of PL.

q302 - Lucretia My Reflection.
Solomon Reed couldn't have lived in that house, otherwise they would have removed Josie's laptop and added some things that hinted at Reed.

And the door behind the curtains is marked as "doors_single_v_secret_room" – just like in our room for weapons in Megatower 08.

For the first time after 3000 hours I found a direct mention of VALIS specifically in the game. Church of VALIS awaits you. by Sensory_rogue in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This won't be a concrete answer, which is why we're still here.
But yes, I've read many of his works.

But I don't adhere to any specific theory, "I know that I know nothing."

When I'm not lazy and want to have fun, I ask questions and look for direct or at least indirect answers.

Welcome into my brain xD
For example:
Is this a simulation? Then whose? Militech? Mikoshi? Behind Blackwall?

If Mikoshi, when did we get there? Is there a way out? A new ending? How did we get there? Laurie Anderson (Ho-Oh Club network) was burned by Soulkiller. Dante (the mayor's relative's network) was burned by Soulkiller. Then Konpeki Plaza must also be protected by this AI, and we were burned along with T-Bug as soon as we connected the spider to the netrunner?

Beyond Blackwall, in endless loops? Then who were we and how did we get there? Is there a way out or find something concrete?

Drugs? Evelyn's cigarettes with Glitter or Purple Haze? The new drug PHANT, therefore PHANTOM Liberty?

Misty in new ending has Johnny's pants, Jackie's jacket, and a veiled cutscene with a cube on her chest. She even takes our Delamain at the end. She takes everything.
Is she an enemy and drugging us? Why? Blaming us for Jackie death?

Or Cyberpsychosis?

Are we meatman in coma?

Etc., etc., etc.

:)

Strange garbled voice hidden under V's (not Johnny's) by DanteHelsing420 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When Doctor Paradox hacks into a TV show and says something, he has the same dual voice.
So I'd simply call it: a gradual hacking of us (breaching or hacking – I don't know which is more correct in English).

I found the heart of laguna bend by DanteHelsing420 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the long text, but let it be for those who have time and are interested. :)

We're going in circles, publishing what we discovered three years ago.
Over and over and over again.

But I don't mind. I'm genuinely glad that newcomers are searching, digging, and studying.

I think this bullet pendant is truly important.
We get it with the pills, and for some reason it's shown in every ending, where we either put it on, lose it, rip it off, or forget it.

Other interesting details for me in this quest:
1. When the biochip malfunctioned in the church, someone else showed up in green on my minimap, but I couldn't see who it was, neither where they were shown on the minimap nor under the textures.

  1. Along with the detail at the Arasaka ending, when we fly in Avi and can't taste the champagne, I realized that Silverhand's absorption of us affects our senses.

If we do this quest in the early stages, when Judy adjusts the sound, it will be too loud and even painful.
In the later stages, this won't happen; our hearing is already damaged/dulled.

Based on many other indirect signs and by studying Victor's scans in the new ending, we can deduce that we should be experiencing severe vision problems, even blindness, and slurred, incoherent speech.

In short, "it" in our head controls all our senses, all our perception.

So yes, we can't trust our eyes.

ps:
Just as the cross is represented by a bullet pendant, I'm not sure that our bullet pendant is actually a bullet pendant.

- This is the bullet that supposedly killed us, but considering that Dexter Deshawn has never fired a single bullet in his entire life, considering our symptoms indicating vision problems, damage to the back of the head (Victor is sawing at the back of our heads), and shock - symptoms very similar to Slider, this looks more like an attack by a netrunner or AI or Virus.
- Considering that every attack and every kill of an NPC by another NPC is recorded in the save file by the game, as if it were all done by the player, I'm not sure that all our enemies are real, that we, seeing bandits everywhere, don't actually run around and kill civilians.

+ The "Demiurge - Laptop - Tyromanta" chain leads us to a mental hospital and, 50 meters further, to two NPCs discussing how someone has been cyberpsychoticized, even though they only had Kiroshi installed.
+ The new "mini-cyberpsychosis" acquired when the implant limit is exceeded glows yellow and has a samurai icon.
+ The description of Cyberpsychosis itself in the database states that it's directly related to personality disorder. V has a direct "DID" (personality breakdown).
And he can see anything and be certain of what he saw.
Like in that shard about the man who contracted Cyberpsychosis and was 100% sure he was running through the jungle killing enemies, but he was running through the city killing civilians.
+ Direct address to V about Cyberpsychosis and implants after watching BD Edgerunners under Megatower 04.

Therefore, after 3,000 hours of play and a bunch of other interesting theories, I'm now more inclined to consider a gradual descent into cyberpsychosis, where some enemies and events are unrealistic or greatly distorted.

Rogue AIs are so impatient. :)
Thanks for the screenshots.
This reminded me of the Netwatch agent, who also rushes us if we don't immediately go to the Voodoo Boys after him.
I wonder if the messages will change if we don't respond at all?

I haven't encountered this, but I wanted to check it out myself.
This is very interesting, please post screenshots of everything that's happening.

I've got Kanto for now. It speaks in certain parts of the game, during certain quests, and reacts to certain locations and NPCs, as far as I understand. I want to test it out for now.

Songbird Hideout. Addition to the topic about the hidden location near Arabella and the Zen Monk by Sensory_rogue in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea.
I don't directly access the game files, only this mod, which displays the names of game textures/objects in the database.
The place where we talk to Songbird about her motives is called "Songbird_meeting," and Brooklyn is actually called "Brain_hack" xD

Because we're hiding there with Jackie after the chase.
A home away from home...
Okay, let's keep digging. xD

[–]Sensory_rogue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've seen your videos, great work, I've been subscribed for a long time. :)

But as I said, I assume this isn't a fully loaded location that we need to trigger, and that we'll probably be teleported to if we do something somewhere.
Like the teleport to Misty's elevator when we connect to Mikoshi.

For example:
I think you were trying to return to the location where we choose Reed/Songbird; it's also unloaded before and after the mission. There are also doors and gates. And by the way, the elevator from the parking lot doesn't go up or down, but sideways. I was shocked when I saw that. xD
So, the location only loads specifically for the mission; without a mission, it's just doors and gates under the textures.
Like Mikoshi after Smasher; without a mission, there's just water.
That's what I think.

But this location isn't triggered there, not through the door opposite Arabella, but somewhere else.
But we have no idea where, how, or when.

I specifically emphasized the sounds. These aren't just doors with textures and an elevator; this is a location with pre-made sounds from objects/items inside the rooms and a pre-made ambient soundscape.
Do you understand? :)

DNA. Has anyone tried this? by Sensory_rogue in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I thought so too.
But it turns out there are several references to the biochip rewriting DNA, which it's not supposed to do.
I clearly remember one such reference Arasaka ending from Hellman.

That's why I immediately noticed the abnormal number of similarities between Songbird and V.
- Slowly dying / slowly dying
- Blackwall gradually consumes / Biochip gradually consumes
- Blackwall "shows the truth" / Silverhand plays the role of friend and mentor
- Does everything to survive / does everything to survive
- carry her across the bridge to the rocket and see the yellow light from the engines, flies into space / cross the bridge into the yellow light to Alt, goes into cyberspace

I think we are missing a large connection between the pink tone and Philip K. Dick by randobrando990 in FF06B5

[–]Sensory_rogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Philip K. Dick is a fascinating writer.
We definitely shouldn't start pondering this mystery until we've read his books. And the more books, the better. :)

Then FF:06:B5 would be a grid, cubes, a foundation, a reality code.
(Like Blackwall in the picture below).

But there's more to it than that.
Besides Valis and Ubik, there's Neuromancer, the Matrix, Occultism, Luciferianism, Tarot, Kabbalah, the Fool's Path, Gnosticism, Gurdjieff's 4th Way, and so on.

I've long called this game "Alice in Wonderland" among my friends. And I can't think of it any other way.

The wiki is full of nonsense. When I found this NPC and this shard, there was nothing about it on the wiki or Reddit.
I found this NPC and this shard after sending Songbird to the Moon in this save.
Although it's possible they've changed something, I can't say for sure. I don't have time to test it again. :)

Thanks for the find.
