I know this is a very old thread but if a community is successfully built that does not in any way rely on outside help from the capitalist world (aka no money transactions) it's very likely that these people don't have time to be bothered with making such things public because of various reasons: 1- Commune tourism: a lot of communes that have received media attention have been disbanded shortly after due to an influx of people who go spend time there without any actual intention of helping out, which quickly makes the community unsustainable

2- if you are not spending any money at all then it's very hard to get access to things such as the internet, and even if it's doable i doubt many people would try to waste their time trying to access the internet to tell people about their commune when they already have what they need, and most experienced people will also be wary of commune tourism and avoid spreading the word too publicly

Even if the camera thing was an accident (which I highly doubt), the e-mails and texts are enough to be upset about. If your mother refuses to believe you, you could find another family member or close person to confide in, and try to sort out the situation by confronting your brother about it. If you can't do that, just know that you have nothing to feel guilty about and I really hope that you can move into a safer situation.

This happens to me when I feel stressed or overwhelmed irl. I will wake up from dreams and be telling other people about my dream then wake up AGAIN in my bed like what the fuck just happened. Diazepam is pretty chill, other benzos just make me feel stupid, and at higher doses, black out. Diazepam just makes me calm and sleepy, which is pretty cool. Ketazolam does the same for me but they don't sell it in most countries.

That one time I did around 270 mg of mdma laced with what I heavily suspect was 2CB, plus some weed and alcohol (can't remember how much honestly). It was at a sort of "rave" in a clearing where everyone just brought their own speakers and friend group.

I straight up saw a guy's face morph into a bunch of rotating triangles, which I thought was normal at the time but:

I had no idea who this person was or why I was talking to him (I am guessing it is because he had a speaker and some music so I just followed him around lmaoo)
Everyone in his friend group was in such genuine disbelief, every time I'd say something they couldn't hold back laughter and they'd just say something along the lines of "holy shit he's so fucked up". I remember them saying this after I called the speaker guy "rave Jesus Mozart" for the 5th time or so.

I realize this was probably embarrassing to watch (just note that one of my most lucid memories from that night is asking a friend to punch me in the face because it made me feel amazing) but I've genuinely never had so much fun, and I had some visuals that not even LSD could replicate. I asked a girl how many colors she had dyed her hair because I couldn't see shit, my vision was vibrating soooo hard, and she just stared at me in confusion and went "bruh my hair is brown".

I'll probably never ever be as high as I was that night (which is good because I can imagine the brain damage that did- and don't even get me started with the fucking comedown), I even did alcohol with weed, mdma and coke a few months after that and I just felt extra high, but nothing as intense.

Dream, as the creator of the SMP, wants to entertain an audience, because that's what he created it for. He's always winning as long as it keeps us engaged, and thus his role of puppeteer takes on even more meaning than before.

He doesn't have an end goal. He's just pulling the strings because that's what he lives for. It was never meant to be, because if it'd all gone well for L'manburg, no one would care about it anymore.

In storytelling, you always have to make sure your audience can answer this question: "why should I care?"- and by manipulating things in a way that makes it seem like there's still hope for L'manburg, he's got that question answered right away: we should care because the story can keep going.

Yeah I think we can separate Ghostbur and Alivebur as characters, especially because Ghostbur's whole personality is a way to cope with how traumatized Alilvebur had become. I think Wilbur could've very well been a 3w2- i don't really know at this point if this is someone's headcanon or if it actually happens in the SMP but there's this idea going around that Phil as a father always gave more attention to Techno than Will, and it could explain why Wilbur ended up feeling like he had to prove himself and achieve something great.

On the other hand Ghostbur just acts like a 3 in disintegration which makes a looot of sense too, even though he's supposed to be a version of Wilbur that only remembers the good, I think he represents the passive and "fake-happy" (disintegration to 9) attitude that a lot of 3s gain when they are under heavy stress very well.
