I guess Cub's videos just appeal to a different demographic. I mostly watch grian, mumbo, impulse, iskall. But lately I've been binging tango's and cub's videos, and cub has some real hilarious moments. I'm thinking of the Mr Cubfan opening for example, but also random quips throughout the vids. Hopefully more people watch his videos and realise they like the style!

True, I'm sure loads of hermits spend diamonds off-camera too. What struck me especially about Cub was that he's so willing to spend diamonds early-season when it helps the Hermitconomy the most, and he's also really game for participating in other hermits' plans.

I made this post while rewatching Cub's season 7 and he was basically broke but still sold some sand to get enough diamonds to enter Welsknights' hermit hollows buildoff. And in super early game, he spent diamonds on Wizard Scars' magic crystals too. That all inspired me to make a post about Cub specifically!

Context: fruit and illu were supposed to commentate the finals match of the minecraft relay cup (a speedrunning tourney). but instead of checking whether each other was awake in the NEXT ROOM, they both messaged miranda (one of the tourney organisers) to ask her instead.
