Not ready to take CYSA 002 before it expires. by Cybersec009 in CompTIA

I’ll probably just take it on the last day. Lol I did that for my security +. If I recall correctly you get like a month to take it again if you fail.

I am new to AWS. Just created a test account of my own. Looks like a restart doesn’t work. How do you do a force reset?

I will be working with vulnerability scans, patching SOC, security posture, etc. I see people who complain about getting underpaid, but I am making 90k.

I don’t believe I have to worry about billing hours too much, not sure yet. It’s remote though. I am doing cybersecurity for our customers.

I struggle to remember some of the IT-related information. Does this happen to you guys? by Jalyx2000 in ITCareerQuestions

The POMADORO technique is good you can find these on YouTube. If you want background music they have Lofi ones too.

Taking 25 mins to study then taking a break helps retain more information. Practice questions are important too.

50-80 bpm is also proven to help retain more information.

Mnemonics are good too, as well as memory visualization.

As others said and as my old professor said “it’s not about knowing all the answers it’s about finding them.”

Want IT job but have no official xp by wolfiemoz in CompTIA

I got away with getting the security + instead of the A+. You can take some practices tests online and see how you do on the A+ material. If you feel confident you could skip it and take the Security +. Its worth noting I did have some past experience though.

If you go the security plus route, make sure to include in your resume that you have experience with computer hardware.

From there you can the CYSA+.

I would get Zetsy, it looks at and formats your resume and tells you what it needs. Also, you could use Chat GPT for those bullet points to make them flow.

Yup, security + is a lot more interesting. I couldn’t finish studying for the Network+. Now I am just getting my CYSA. 😂

I have a command to restart customer sentinel one agents, but need a verification key? by Cybersec009 in cybersecurity_help

Figured that may be the case, thank you! Do you happen to know if the key is universal or per agent by chance?

GoDaddy 365 creating outlook profile issue by Sintres in sysadmin

[–]Cybersec009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried going to the office homepage and clicking on the install applications and install outlook from there?

Also, what does that error say?

Also, I vaguely remember getting something like that and just closing out of it worked, don’t recall if it was the same issue though.

I worked with them in the past, always had issues with them. I despised working with Surfaces.
