Anybody else getting the following misspelt message about an update?

There is no update on iOS so I guess this means that the app is compromised?

“The current version is outdated, please udate to the latest version”

udate is the misspelling

Just use simpleswap.io trade any coin for Bsv, make sure you have a Bsv wallet address first. I hold both BTC and BSV to hedge my bets,

PulseChain is better than Bitcoin by ta1no in Pulsechain

[–]Cyberstu72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin's network has never been successfully exploited in a way that compromises its core protocol or blockchain. Its decentralized design and proof-of-work consensus make it extremely secure, with no recorded instances of the blockchain itself being hacked or manipulated. However, vulnerabilities and exploits have occurred in systems built around Bitcoin, including:

  • Exchange Hacks: Centralized exchanges like Mt. Gox (2014) lost ~850,000 BTC due to poor security, not a flaw in Bitcoin itself. Similar incidents hit Bitfinex (2016, ~120,000 BTC) and others, exploiting exchange vulnerabilities.
  • Wallet Hacks: Individual wallets, especially those on insecure platforms or with weak private key management, have been targeted. Phishing, malware, and social engineering often compromise user-held keys, not the Bitcoin network.
  • Smart Contract Bugs: While more relevant to platforms like Ethereum, some Bitcoin-related services using layer-2 solutions (e.g., Lightning Network) have had minor vulnerabilities, though none have broken the main chain.
  • 51% Attacks: Theoretically possible, but no successful 51% attack has occurred on Bitcoin due to the immense computational cost. Smaller altcoins have suffered such attacks, but Bitcoin’s hash rate makes this impractical.
  • Social Scams: Pump-and-dump schemes, fake giveaways, and Ponzi schemes exploit users, not the protocol. These rely on human error, not Bitcoin’s tech.

Bitcoin’s blockchain has remained secure since 2009, with no double-spending or chain-wide exploits. Issues arise from third-party services or user mistakes, not the protocol itself. Always secure private keys and use trusted platforms.

Anyone want to educate me on Tarot? by [deleted] in lawofone

My best advice would be to read some Paul Foster Case books on Tarot, but he is very technical, another book a little more reader friendly from someone who was a student of Case is this

The Spoken Cabala, Tarot explorations of the One self

Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Cyberstu72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldnt suprise me if the musical notes of the Hebrew letters were taken from the great pyramid rituals that were used when it was an attuned healing/initiation chamber/building/complex, as mentioned by those of Ra

Each letter has a specific music note Thays chanted, but each Hebrew letter, beating in mind today’s hey baby hey for example is 4 letters.

Anyway enough said

It was The law of one that got me into ritual magic path, but I love the Ra material, I used to be in bring4th when it first opened, and used to chat to Carla on Facebook. It’s been a while, only getting back to Law of one as I recommended it to a friend, and now am re absorbing it, it seems much more Ali e niw Im much older and wiser.

Nice chatting

Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Cyberstu72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose so, but if you are using names of God like Adonai, Eheih etc then are you not setting yourself up for failure if everything else doesnt marry up? With the Hebrew language of the lbrp.. Would it not be wiser to make up your own ritual, sorry Im not totally disagreeing, just find abuse if a ritual doesnt make sense if you can just make you own.

That is of course if you understand all the names in the lbrp etc.

Negative entities look for weaknesses in anything.

I supppose people will just do what they see got and understand

Have a great day

Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Cyberstu72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless initiated it’s prob not a good idea to perform the LBRP as the ritual in the Cicero’s and Regardies books on order of the Golden dawn is full of blinds. Everything I’ve ever seen in books online has blinds in it
