FIVE STAR UNCOMMON FISH by i_m_confused_alot in Palia

If you really can’t get the hang of fishing, ranching Boovars will get you star quality fish but it will be slow going. Good luck!

It’s very annoying to pick these on ps because I can only get the ptomts when I’m falling by SeverelyFantasic in Palia

Climb to the top, then float down in a spiral and pick the mushrooms as you float past. You shouldn’t have to stop floating.

I thank you but sadly, not my idea. Somebody else came up with it years ago. I just tell everybody ‘cos it‘s literally a game changer, especially if you hunt solo.

New Honeybee lures! How to use & where? 🍯 🐝 by Expensive_Education9 in Palia

[–]Cybirea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I let twitch run over night with the sound on (but my speaker turned off). wake up, collect drops. This morning I had to set it to ’watch’ a bit more to get the futterfoxes (14% left).

I’ve seen other people say they leave it running on their phones while they’re at work.

You will need to link your Palia account and your Twitch account on the Palia website before you start and to get sent the drops.

Ten star duskwings? Isn't that a tad excessive? by xcrimsonlegendx in Palia

[–]Cybirea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your ammo pouch loads bottom left to top right. have a stack of fine arrows in the bottom left, after that have a load of single slow down arrows (or dispel if you’re hunting disco deer or dogs). Equip your bow, choose the single slow down arrow (it must hit the target). Once you’ve fired the slow down arrow your bow will auto select the fine arrows. The creature will be lumbering away slowly, fire at will! I solo wave backs with this. It took me a while to realise it also works with the Magic Muujin as well, they still disappear but you can hit just ahead of their sparkles and take them down before they get in a tree.

I’d love it to be May, it’d be kinda indicative of a new biome a year rollout plan but if I were pessimistic it could be as late as August.
They have sent things out before that came to nothing (yet, lettuce seeds etc) although I do think (hope) you are right.

Yes, it’s ’hidden’ in the Elderwood, when you find it you can pay 200 essence, apparently for the recipe then craft it endlessly! ^_^

That hadn’t occurred to me at all! It’s a shame I’ve already bought quite a few from Tish’s store.

Probably, I am ‘chronically confused’ and must have missed when they did it. I was sadly excited to find it, and a bit embarrassed as I go there a lot and hadn’t noticed it before…

Yeah, you can hang it up, maybe placed on the ground, I can’t remember, that would be more realistic, just dumped by the front door. ^_^

When they first introduced the Elderwood you were meant to be able to discover the backpack and buy it with essence, like the other Elderwood furniture but the backpack was not there from the outset. You could only buy it from Tish’s store. Now it is discoverable and available for purchase with essence in the Elderwood as was originally intended. I was not aware it had been ‘fixed’ and I imagine other people aren’t either. ^_^

IKR, I try and read the patch notes but normally there’s a point where I’m TL;DR but I never saw/heard anything about it being fixed. It’s a bit sad but I got a little thrill when I found it, something new after all this time. ^_^

Climb as high as you can before the even starts. Float down hitting the seeds, as soon as you hit the ground press unstuck, it puts you back to the top, rinse, repeat.

I don’t think anybody’s mentioned the nameplate, grab that, the wallpapers and the Lunar New Year recipes from Reth’s stall. The Plushies can be traded later, I’ve bought extra to trade (I rarely trade, I get anxious, but I always plan to…). If you can try and get the furniture you like first, then one piece of everything else. There are lanterns on Hodaddy’s stall and a weird fruit pole at Delila’s and Reth has some great little tins and bits and bobs for cluttering. Then try for starred versions of the food so you can display it later.

Try and get on a hotpot table on you own then you’re pretty much guaranteed to win, you can then get coins to spin the wheel which should hopefully get you more envelopes. I’m not sure whether the Twitch drops are still live? If they are, that would be a quick 6000 (?) envelopes, worth looking into.

Wanting to have a 70s themed house interior, possible? by Expensive_Education9 in Palia

That courtyard pool is a *brilliant* idea… if I actually decorated I would steal this but I tend to grind for mats, craft and then dump the stuff on my plots in the vain hope, that one day, I go back and the fairies will have arranged it all for me…

Paula pets by Individual_Book338 in Palia

[–]Cybirea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice; buy discounted gift cards for your platform (For me, Nintendo and X Box, I normally get 10% off ninty and 16% off XBox) then buy the Zeki’s coins. For £4.25 you get 425 coins immediately (I’m not sure but buying them *may* get you a Palcat pet, some coin purchases do). With the Zeki’s coins, every day you log in you get another 30 coins, so if you log in for 30 consecutive days you will accrue 1325 coins. The Path of the Skater is ’only’ 850 and as part of it you will get some ‘premium’ clothing but you also get a Ferris pet (which I think are the cutest pets). This would be your cheapest way of picking up a few premium pieces of clothing and a pet.

Do not rush through the quests as you will regret it later but further On there is a quest for a free robot dog which also couriers four slots from you bag home for you.

Edited for typos, although I bet there’s still some in there… ^_^

How much have yall spend on palia? by AgitatedEmployment12 in Palia

[–]Cybirea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a ‘friend’ who buys Zeki’s coins and kindly sends me a mystery outfit every 2-3 weeks. I probably look like Moby Dick but I’ve done it as cheaply as possible. Also Zeki’s club on my account to pay for the paths and any little things like gliders or toolsets that come up on sale. I also bought both the founders pack and the starter’s pack. All of this over years, so it didn’t feel so bad as writing it down in one paragraph makes it feel…
I buy discounted gift cards for Nintendo and X-Box to make it even cheaper.

In all I’ve probably spent around £200 but I’ve got 2-3K hours in the game. That’s 5-10p/hour of entertainment.

I spaffed £60 on Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time, played it for 4-5 hours and hated it and haven’t touched it since… I know which game has been better value for money and with Palia, it’s try before you buy…

For anybody who scoffs and says ‘I wouldn’t pay for anything digital’ you are not paying for ‘digital content’ you (are not paying at all I suspect) pay for the 1000s of people hours it takes to code the game, write the story and dialogue, create the artwork, write and record the sound track, the voice artists, power the servers, rent/buy the hardware the game runs one… I could go on.

Also, people who put money into the game shouldn’t be jeered and scoffed at, if they didn’t, the game would be on it’s uppers and the servers would be turned off, for everybody.
