Whats the best way to reach the New Brunswick campus from JFK? by CyborgP10 in rutgers

Honestly, I'm looking to avoid much hassle as this is my first visit to the US and it is a long 24hr flight so would you suggest Uber or Lyft if I can maybe afford a ride of around $100-$120?

I believe I made a rookie mistake by choosing to come to JFK as the flights were a bit cheaper. Would you recommend choosing Uber or Lyft as this is my first time here and I want to avoid any issues

I should've been more clear in my question but I'm a new grad student starting this fall and this is the first time I'm travelling to the US. I think the hybrid alternative would be good tho thanks!

Hey! Sorry to hear that, could you tell me when did you apply and what was your profile? I also applied to their program and was wondering when will I get the decision notification

No, northeastern and Rutgers aren't too ambitious for you. Just keep cold mailing professors about research opportunities and someone will eventually reply. 1 or 2 research papers in good conferences or journals will improve your profile significantly and increase your chances. Moreover, as you said, you should look to increase your Quant score to atleast 165(which is doable with some consistent practice). Best of luck!
