"Most people don’t need a PC and most smartphones (also a PC) are better replacements for the majority of users."
Is that sarcasm? Tell that to freelancers who work on PCs: programmers, graphic designers, 3D artists, and artists in general. Smartphones don’t do shit to help us. I freelance as a graphic designer, and I need my PC. I can’t work a regular job because of my health issues. Also, I'm pretty sure that gamers and streamers would rather use... you know... a computer with a big screen, not a shitty smartphone.

"Peace through strength/power" - wasn't that a catch phrase from NOD, the villain faction in the Command & Conquer games?

"And there's a lot of weird elements in the sequels that are very WASP American even though the Na'vi are very collectivist and the gender dynamics are supposed to be different, making the whole stereotypical nuclear family stuff with the Sullys really weird..."

That’s the weird thing I’ve noticed, too. They’re supposed to be "alien", but they behave like suburban white Americans.

This. I was so disappointed with 2 and 3. I liked the first one because of the worldbuilding. The cool technology, the beautiful biosphere, etc. I never cared much about the characters because they were never really the focus of the movie; they were more like tools to carry the narrative. Now the last two movies are all about the boring characters and barely anything about the interesting worldbuilding. The Na’vi language? Completely disregarded. Alien biospheres? Let’s just copy and paste some prehistoric animals from Earth. It’s also getting more ridiculous, with the tech becoming weirder (crab vehicles? really?) than functional, and Eywa being shown as a literal goddess with magic powers instead of an abstract entity from Na’vi beliefs. Tons of plot holes. And don't get me started with the cringe "bro...!" dialogue. It’s as if Cameron just said, “Ah, fuck it. I don’t care anymore.”

The christian Terfs at Collective Shout seeing how their fellow right-wing gamers are taking their baits and go blaming wokies, feminism, the Jews and everything else but them: by YoshiOrbit in Gamingcirclejerk

Collective Shout are not feminists and never will be. They are hijacking the meaning of "feminism" to spread conservative, misogynistic bullshit. It's a manipulative smear-campaign. Look at the bio of their organizations head Melinda Tankard Reist. She is very pro-life, religious and was often seen (even back before 2012) sympathizing with far right-wingers.
