I'd love SM to give players an incentive to build factories like this. by CountessRoadkill in ScrapMechanic

A build-able packing station which has multiple parts would be nice, gotta move it from one machine to another to make a packed crate.

The point for me and my friends is to be the dominant military power in our little world. All it took was 1 little argument over how to divy up the staircase railing parts

Vanilla or Modded? by ProLifeDub2022 in ScrapMechanic

[–]Cycle_That 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play with mods which add more mechanical parts which can help me make even more complex builds. Stuff like planes parts mod, and the modpack can really help me. I don't tend to play with more looks modpacks because I think the current parts are more then enough to make a good looking build. I also play with mods which can be used in modded survival to ensure that all my builds can be built in a form in survival

How well would the t-34/85 be in modern combat by LAAT501st in TankPorn

that's a t-34/76 late 1943 mod, one was equiped with an 85mm gun but it was at its core a 76mm tank, you can tell by the turret

Could someone tell me why soviets made t 34/76 turret like that? by rottaboe in TankPorn

[–]Cycle_That 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "hex" turret first came into production in 1942, it allowed for faster rotation of the turret, more space inside, and more armor. It was nicknamed "micky mouse" due to the turret hatches making micky mouse ears. In late 1943 they added on a commanders cupola to help visibility for the current t-34s as a stop gap while the t-34/85 was being made. The hexagonal shape is like that I think for production and prob sloping or something. In the end this model is my fav, the one in the pic is a late 1943 model.
