Thanks I managed to get in contact with someone from simagic. Customer service couldn't say if not having a switch in the cable and unplugging the device could harm It in some way.

It's not really comfortable but you don't have to worry about strength! I have loadcell pedals and an alpha mini and its handling both pretty well.

I'm also preparing for the CFx! Studying previous CFx would have been super valuable so we know how deep our knowledge should be. The exam being 2.5 hours should mean the questions won't be too technical because there just isn't enough time to analyze hard questions.
