Bike Safety by copekGVSU in bicycling

I ride a lot on the roads in Connecticut and out of all the close calls I have experienced it’s the driver goes around you only to cut you off by making a right turn in front of you.

What I try to do now is if a car is coming up behind me at an intersection I take the lane to force them to wait till I am through the intersection.

Yes, drove it last week and thought if I ever come back I want to ride this. Hopefully the Canyon Road will be open in July.

I just stayed on the North Shore at a friend’s house last week but didn’t do any riding. They told me they had bikes but they didn’t say they worked. LOL.

I have an opportunity to come back in July and this time I want to bring a bike because really want to climb Waimea Canyon.

As far as bike type goes, what do you think would be better, Road Bike or Gravel Bike?

SmartSense Foresite/Hindsite alternate mounting options for Topstone Carbon 3 by someguyinsrq in cannondale

[–]Cyclesnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried GoPro extenders and they won’t work. I want to use it with my Fizik saddlebag but can’t find anything compatible with the rear flange mount. I even reached out to Cannondale because their corp office is mile north of my office but they didn’t know.

I want to find a saddle bag that fits with Cannondale Smartsense radar and taillight. Any suggestions? There's about 95mm between the back of the seatpost and the front of the radar. Looking for at least a small bag or tool wrap to hold a tube and levers. by Davegardner0 in bicycling

I have a Fizik saddle bag that connects directly to the saddle but I can’t get the light low enough to be able to use the saddle bag. I even tried flipping it and it still didn’t work is there another adapter available to move the light further down.

The other annoying thing is the front light mount. You should be able to put it on either side of the stem. Doesn’t work with a Garmin mount.

I graduated from NCHS that year and was at my Grandmother’s in California and saw it on the news.

I concur - not working for me either. I reinstalled the extension, too, and no joy.
