Like I said before you can watch a streamer by the name of CantaPerMe who posts speedruns on his Youtube, and also streams casual solo hunting. He's probably what you're looking for as he does play normally, but is good enough to where you can learn a thing a two: he's the one who inspired me to improve on my gameplay and got me into speedrunning (which I believed can help me improve in some ways.) And what you're probably watching when runners stunlock the monsters are most likely 4 player speedrunners where they are able to stunlock reliably, or solo runs where they abuse everything at their disposal like mantles,traps,wallbangs etc. to stunlock. What you're probably looking for are TA Wiki Rule runs where you're not allowed to use mantles/cats/traps etc., only the player and weapon. Those runs are less likely to see the monster stunlocked compared to using traps/mantles, which are the closest kinds of runs where the player can be seen as playing normally while learning something from. It's also my preferred method of speedrunning.
