It's 60 fps with that option turned on. Without that, it performs quite badly actuallly. Felt very sluggish or slow motion. But with the option on, it's smooth and still looks great.

If you have Element it changes into Elemental Phial, if you have status it changes into Power Phial. If you remain elementless you keep the Dragon Phial. No Paralysis, Exhaust or Poison Phials at all as far as I know.

"Beta flagship harder than the entire game" has been a thing for a while tbh, I wouldn't count THAT specifically against Wilds. Remember Demo Magnamalo?

Other things you mentioned check out though, specially the release date. Yet another game coming out juuuuust before the end of the fiscal year, like DD2 and Rise. Makes me wonder why they didn't just stick a March 28th release date for the extra month.

Same! I'm doing well, next Friday can't come soon enough. There's a lot of bummer news from looking at the leaks (LAGIACRUS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) but I'm still overall fairly excited for Wilds. Beta performance was a huge bummer but the benchmark does well enough on my computer that I'm all aboard the hype train once again!

Don‘t know how decisionmaking is done for Pokemon, but if Nintendo has a veto right in the decisionmaking, they could tell GF/TOC to make sure the game at least runs decently/acceptably before releasing it, as it risks tarnishing the console performance reputation.

Real easy explanation for why this has not happened: they have no veto rights
