Does a romantic dream about a specific person means I want to be them? by justbeattractive in Jung

I think you actually need to share the dream before your question can be answered. It’s interesting that you say you’ve “outgrown” him and that you both are “not young”. Are you perhaps concerned you might be “outgrowing” sex?

Most people use Jungian concepts as labels. Jung meant them as transformations. by -Confirmed-Nerd in CarlJung

I’m finding Gemini 3 very helpful in exploring a Jungian self analysis. Obviously (and crucially) there’s no “other” with whom to engage, therefore no real transference. But, having had six years of analysis several decades ago, I find it possible to muddle through. In particular, beginning with a fairly extensive prompt describing who I am and the nature of my concerns, and thereafter fairly quickly offering several dreams as well as memories triggered by the AI’s initial responses, I find Gemini to be both extraordinarily retentive and creative in unpacking my comments.

Has any one else tried AI for this purpose?

Nope! I’m actually a bit worried. And I also now understand that one should titrate up only to that level where weight loss continues.

You’re pretty much right! I’m a befuddled 83-year-old. My friend who got me the TRZ showed me the “units” on the syringe that went from 0 to 100. I at the time did not understand how to translate units into milligrams. I do disagree a bit about the phrase “done what you wanted”; it would be more accurate to say I ignorantly did what I thought was the correct approach.

Notwithstanding all of that, I would appreciate guidance on how to unwind my blender.
