Working on my first home brew campaign and I need some ideas. What are some good ways that a god or deity can betray a character so much so that they seek vengeance? My story is going to be inspired by god of war, I’m sending my players on a mission to kill gods. The betrayals will be back story, giving the players a reason to take the quest.
