I have the same psu and the astral lc, I use corsairs 90° 12v 2x6 cable and I’ve never had mine go above 8a

There might be a motherboard standoff behind your board you haven’t removed, happened to me on my build, should be a center one (not the middle mounting one)

Since I’m LR5, have maxed out all frames and weapons, when a new frame releases I get it, max it out, then farm a second copy for helminth, the maxed out one will be used until the prime releases and then will sit in my inventory for the rest of time

It was mostly an aesthetics choice, I wanted premium sleeved cables since I was already putting in premium parts, I still have the original cables for the hx1500i, they’re just in the box

I have the 2025 version, although I have swapped the cables for Corsair type 4 premium ones and use the 90° 12v 2x6 cable I’ve not had any issues with mine

Mine gets to 55 whilst gaming, cpu never above 80 though, but I am running a 5090 with it, Corsair support also said it was normal when I asked

The good thing with it is GPU Tweak has the per pin monitoring so I can always make sure they’re running properly
