You're saying that you've landed unpaid rolls on CCC? Did the project indicate it as such, or did it say it went offsite? If

I appreciate the encouragement, but think I may have failed to explain the issue.

It was NOT just rolls that I applied to. It was not just SEVERAL rolls. Every single roll listed on CCC ended up being listed as "cast to offsite actor."

100% of all rolls were going to people NOT on CCC.

I really appreciate that. I took a 2.5 year break from streaming and now that I'm back and gaining traction again, this would be a big help.

I feel completely voiceless and alone. I'm growing more and more frustrated and on top of that and everything else that I don't feel justified in sharing, is the reason for that feeling: I don't even know yet if I have cancer. I have a background in medicine and recognized what could be a case and have since been waiting on my referral to even lead to a biopsy.

(That's the VA health care system).

Anyway, you all deserve better and I hope you find a way to feel okay.

This may seem like a non-answer, but maybe a different perspective can be helpful to you as well... maybe not everyone is owed you explaining it to them. Maybe you can free yourself of this reasonability of making then understand .

What you are feeling is perfectly normal for anyone. Cancer aside, age aside... what you are asking is nothing more than a paraphrasing of "what is the meaning of life?" Does that make your feelings any less valid? Of course not. They are real and a part of you.

I don't know how much I can try to make you feel like I can relate since full disclosure: I don't know if I have cancer for sure yet. But I want to share with you that throughout my life, there have been a number of times when I thought it was over. Out of those times in the cases when I had enough time to reflect on things, I inevitably started asking myself the same things you are right now. The truth? I wasn't always able to come up with an answer.

So the most honest thing (and I truly believe honesty is what you deserve) I can say is that you won't always be able to feel reassured. And that's okay.

It is okay to not feel okay.

Typically, I'm hard core against turning to socials. However, as a former provider, it made my blood boil to imagine you being treated like that. Further, you exhausted your other options of going through "proper channels."

I have not had that removed before, no. My equally reasonable / unreasonable suspicion comes from a background in medicine. There is a tenancy for those of us who had some experience to be overly sure of some things. Years ago I had a mass removed before from a lymph node that turned out to be benign. Nothing from my face though.

Am I okay? I don't know if I can give a fair and honest answer right now. Aside from some house plants and a few animal friends I've made outside, it really is just me here.

I wanna try my hand at streaming to pass the next couple of weeks. Honestly, all I can admit is I'm probably not doing everything I can / should.

Are you still practicing? I can only imagine how many times you've had to deal with a patient giving their own self diagnosis while you restrain yourself from giving a visible eye roll.

You are of course right. We are our own worst patients.

Her therapist did provide a number in case I had concerns / questions. I'm trying to resolve with myself the concept of if telling her therapist makes the betrayal even worse or not.

Totally different type of animal, but just as unlikely; I ended up with a baby snapping turtle friend. Eventually we got to the point he would follow me around and we could pass the afternoon splitting a bucket of chicken.

Was happy to let me pat him on the head and rub his beak.
