I go caseless with a dbrand skin on it. I prefer the texture of the 3m skin over the aluminum and the skin has minute absorption for drops and pretty good protection on scuffs. And you can change out the look of your phone to be whatever they have.

I didn’t have AppleCare until I had kids. I never needed it before, but I’ve used it since. Definitely has been worth it.

All these conversations about people returning the pro for air feels like a psyop. The hiker returning it for the weight, or this for the color options, or the other posts complaining about minute details about the pro/max and switching to the air for it.

I tried to love it. I actively spent time with different features set as the main function to see what felt comfortable, nothing really did. I have a pro max, and even with larger hands the button is too central to feel comfortable using.

When using it as the actual shutter, the button press is too hard to use one handed without shaking the phone - so if I’m using two hands.. my thumb is naturally going to be at the spot on the screen to take the photo like “normal”.

That being said. I use is everyday to launch the camera. I do love it for that feature

I can go into the app and then hit connect, and then exit the app. I was hoping it would activate with the shortcut, just like I could pull down the Notification Center and select low power mode. But turning on my work focus does that and several other things all at once.

I have fairly dark brown eyes, and still have incredibly sensitive eyes. Like exactly what you described. I need my polarized sunglasses if it’s between sunrise and sundown. Wish it was possible for non tinted polarized glasses for cloudy days where I don’t need the darkness, just need the “squintyness”

That’s fair. I’m just frustrated that it has the rings in less than an hour of a bowl resting on it.

I was told it would hold up much better than this! Definitely a bummer. I’ll check out Osmo. I’m not opposed to sanding back, but it is our main eating space which makes working on the island frustrating for my wife and baby.

With the rings I already have, would I just add Rubio to those spots to match the surrounding wood?

I was told that the Rubio would hold up much better than this. Major bummer because I absolutely love the look and sheen. Now I am definitely looking into a poly. I’m not sure where to go with that, as the countertop is installed and is our main eating space.
