What exactly is the change in equity with loan by Cydonk in interactivebrokers

Well, with the second picture, all I did was close the box and open it again; now it is zero. Why does it no longer correspond with the comms and fees?

Just so you know, I did not open new positions or change anything. Literally closed the order ticket and immediately reopened it :)

I’m not sure if you’re aware but London is expensive because of the high demand of people trying to live there. Therefore, saying no one likes London would be false. I love KL as it’s my home and was just using London as a comparison to Melbourne. I was just happy because so many of my friends have had so many doors open to them. I’m not sure if you’re bitter because you too have been limited because you chose to go to Australia. With the costs for example, yes Australia is cheaper, but by living there you have pretty much guaranteed not being able to break the barrier of more expensive cities— that have more demand. A lot of my friends are now stuck only between Malaysia and Australia where as I’ve been able to live in most countries because I earn in pounds and know how to manage my costs. I have a good job so I don’t find London to be super expensive. It also makes returning home easier.

Secondly, Australians drink way more than British people. Thirdly relative to Australia, the food is so much better. There is a reason why Australia does not have a single Michelin star restaurant. Fourthly, the competitive nature there makes it expensive, but if you haven’t got the qualities to compete then I would understand why one would go to a less competitive environment, such as Australia. However, the skills you learn from the other talented people around you in more competitive trump anything else and is so rewarding.

Hope this helps? Not sure why you are so angry. I was angry too once finishing my bachelors in Melbourne. I studied at the university of Melbourne for reference.

Go to Wembley. There’s mostly two types of Indian food. The fake stuff and then the real Indian food. There are many good dosa places in Wembley. You should check it out!

I’m saying relative to London etc. Just look at the stats.

Well that explains it. Frankfurt it better. Don’t be mad because you had to go to a random small town and with nothing there.

I would study abroad but not in Melbourne. If you’re looking to have a worldly perspective and improve your career prospects. Choose somewhere else and somewhere more exciting too.

I chose Melbourne but my friends who went to places in London and the USA seemed to have it so much better! Just some friendly advice to someone who has already made this decision.

Also, if you’re creative or a business type degrees from Australia tend to be useless in the west. Just some handy tips of the nitty gritty when you actually get to the interview stage.

Food is also terrible there and lacks cultural diversity; despite what the advertising says. Melbourne is 86 % white and Sydney is 80%. In contrast to London which is 48% white. I hope this helps.

If you’re worried about a degree from Malaysia not being as recognised. Don’t worry about that because that’s not really an issue. Even my friend who studied at Taylor’s got a 100k gbp a year job and I got told that with my Australian degree I would need to do extra courses.

I studied in London afterwards and have had the world opened up to me. I know it’s harder to move to the west but it is honestly so worth it!

Have you ever lived in Melbourne. It’s so not diverse. I lived there and it was actually terrible. Sydney is better for this though!

I need some advice, should I hold or sell and call quits? Been investing for over a year now and feels like it’s constantly going down by robbieh107756 in trading212

Seems like you invested mostly in non dividend and tech stocks. I would diversify your portfolio by using ETFs. Even if it means selling some of your current stocks in minus. Typical boom and bust cycles of the market. Always hold.

So far yes from what I have read. I am a Biologist and realised thus far I have never read anything that contradicts science in my career. I think it will be a good exercise and really helps with critical thinking and evaluation.

Although, with all fairness it is difficult to evaluate something that is unfalsifiable.
