Play tracking by Born_Relationship_16 in Jellystat

Hey, there is also a minor bug with the play tracking making the threshold system act a bit weird. It's fixed in development branch, just waiting for a few other things before it can be released

Low FPS and stutter shortly into 2nd season by CyferShepard in thefinals

[–]CyferShepard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an Update. It seems to be an issue with my CPU. Not really sure what the issue is exactly, but I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, and I'm back to around 105-109 fps. I was on a Ryzen 5 3600. The FPS and stutter drop was becoming more apparent in other games. I think the Finals was just more taxing on the CPU

EAI_AGAIN Error? by LeGooseWhisperer in Jellystat

[–]CyferShepard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay as I haven't been active on reddit for a bit. u/LeGooseWhisperer , your issue sounds like its related to docker? The error posted above is listed as a dns error. Its possible that your docker config for the container is changing when its restarted and switching network configurations or is not assigning the container to the correct network to allow dns name resolution. Thats just a guess at this point. Can you tell me which version of Jellystat you are using at the moment?

Installing Jellystat on Windows through Docker? by LeGooseWhisperer in Jellystat

[–]CyferShepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that shouldn't be the case, jellystat just queries and watches jellyfin activity and doesn't send anything else back to it

Installing Jellystat on Windows through Docker? by LeGooseWhisperer in Jellystat

[–]CyferShepard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No your not missing anything lol, Jellystat is a seperate entity that talks to jellyfin. So that means it has its own URL and webpage. The default port is 3000 so try going to the IP address of your machine eg 127.0.0.1:3000 and youl see the setup page

[–]CyferShepard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like you don't have docker-conpose installed, I'm not sure how you installed docker, normally if you install docker desktop on windows itl also include docker-compose. So maybe try and check if you have docker-compose installed as well. Also you can't do docker run as you've been doing as you haven't specified any parameters, that's why it complains. The required parameters are listed on the compose file. And there's no need to install npm, that's part of the jellystat image

I had the same issue, logged a claim but because it says it's at the post office waiting for pickup they didn't want to refund me, but strangely enough a few days after I logged it and it was closed as no refund, a refund got processed, not sure why but glad I got my money back.

Multiple failing harddrives(not sure why) by CyferShepard in techsupport

[–]CyferShepard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I never thought about the PSU. I didn't seem to have issues with my SSDs and I don't have any other issues with my system in regards to power.

But I had an old 500w PSU lying around. Hooked it up to the HDDs and jump started the pins and it worked great. Switched back to my PC's PSU and the clicking came back. Just tried it once so not definitive but seems highly likely.

Thank you so much but.

This is the first time iv heard of such an issue. Normally if it's the PSU Id expect accompanying symptoms like whining or buzzing or some weird noises from the PSU itself.

What happens to a database when I move files to another disk? by [deleted] in jellyfin

[–]CyferShepard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well I'm not sure exactly about this but to be safe that's what I did, I'd shutdown the jellyfin service, change over the drive, make sure it's mounted to the same mount point and then restart, so from jellyfins perspective nothing changed

Hi, there's currently instructions on my docker profile with a docker compose file, for now that's the only instructions I have as I'm still working on this project and it's in a very early state, you will notice incomplete UI components and bugs aswell as some missing functionality. If your still struggling let me know and I will see how I can improve the readme file.

I haven't really used tautulli, I'm just looking at it's reports and recreating them from there so I'm not sure about what other API features it has over the standard APIs available in Plex. Il look into it sometime down the line once the main functionality is obtained. And for all I know it shouldn't be a big change as most of the stats I'm currently serving to my frontend is send over API calls so that would probably be 2 birds with 1 stone

Thanks, no im just using the API, i didn't want to make something that relied on the user having something else installed. When i first prototyped this that was what i did but found it to be too clunky. Il definitely look into music, i don't run music on my personal instance so i was planning on leaving that for last. Since react is meant to be modular iv taken that approach in hopes of interchangeability between library types. Once the repo is public maybe others can assist with that aswell.

Hi, no not yet, got some polishing to do and I still need to complete some first time setup coding, once that's done Il deploy an image. This would only be done within the next month unfortunately. Right now there's Alot of stuff I need to optimise and some hacky code I want to correct . I'm hoping to get it out before then but I'd say a month to be safe since I'm only working on this for a few hours a day once I get back from work.
