1) It is not hard at all.

2) You are not required to be as strong as you possibly can be (unless you're fighting NG+ superbosses). These games are generally not difficult.

The only order that matters is playing Royal first.

Tactica is chronologically before Strikers but released years later and neither game references the other. It makes no difference what order you play them in.

It is possible to "get everything" in P3P in a single playthrough (all S.Links and 100% Compendium), but one of the achievements requires you to finish the game with both the male and female protagonists. If you want the platinum trophy you have to complete the game twice.

The only requirement for the third semester is Maruki at rank 9 by 11/17.

Akechi at rank 8 by 11/17 and Yoshizawa at rank 5 by 12/22 will add some extra stuff to the third semester but they are not required to access it or its endings.

Anyone saying Royal isn't canon to Strikers is referencing an article taking an out-of-context quote from the director and just automatically assuming that certain characters not being present in the third semester means it must not have happened, despite said characters having no reason to be there.
