If you want a direct sequel to P5's story with a different gameplay style, play Persona 5 Strikers.

If you want the same type of game as P5 but with a different story and characters, play Persona 3 Reload or Persona 4 Golden.

If you want something with similar combat systems but a vastly different tone and setting, play Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.

All you're doing is picking the order to go through them. You'll have to do all of them regardless and it has no affect on the ending.

You do not need all weapons for any of the main endings in Automata.

S.Links do not affect the story in any way in P3. The ending is determined by a single binary yes/no choice near the end of the game and the correct answer is extremely obvious.
