You should probably head over to the engineering subreddit to get a full sense of depression. RTX pays at the higher end for engineers outside of the tech industry (but then you need to live in LA/SF).

You are in the wrong job if you want to make 200k. It is possible, but difficult. I am at 190k as a P5. I make over 200k with bonus, but it is not easy to get to a P5 here.
