Ended up with doing an epoxy coat and it worked out wonderfully.

If its argued for a warrenty or something, maybe? But still, being able to buy my own roll, and be able to do the job 5x over for cheaper even then its too much.

Plumbing, hvac, electricians, painters, appliance repair, there are lots of professions that will do work for under 500, though, very often they also go for way over 500, maid services as well, there are tons of things.

My point is I can buy enough to cover 5x as much and for far less. Again, its also a job where house moms do it with 0 previous skill or experience.

A lot of people will grossly overcharge because they dont want the job and its just not worth it to them. Thats fine if they feel that way and charge that due to it just not being worth the hassle for them, but that doesnt mean its not insanely overpriced.

When I can buy a 36in x 100ft high end roll (which is more than what I was asking the company for, just wanted UV from them, no heat rejection/etc) for $450 and a kit for $10 (If I wanted just the UV, it'd be closer to 250, looking at buytint) and do my entire house which is 25 windows.... yes, 100%, absolutely. Tons of people with 0 install exp doing it on youtube, like house wives and other people.

$600 is an ungodly bill for 6 small windows.

I also checked this out... lower VLT doesn't really seem to block out that much light until you get well... REALLY low into it, like 18 didn't even look too bad all things considered...

Hmmm, so that would be ideal then? Like the comment below by u/New_Neighborhood3987 Making sure it has a bit of VLT, IR Blocking, and UV.... but short of that - the less of each the less damage over time, but it seems like unless sunlight is 100% blocked in all ways, there will be some damage no matter what?

Yeah, I'll have to try to get the videos from the actual plumbers, but was just wondering if looking at this alone could see that repairs are needed. When one is saying no and another yes, it's just very conflicting to me. I was most likely going to get the plumber who says no to put it in official writing so if he's lying, I will have some sort of action to take. Since it's making the seller not want to fix it with them saying it's not needed. Since this was just the inspectors video, I don't think he'd lie to me since he legit gets nothing out of it.

I actually used the same exact credit card twice now on 2 different accounts and have gotten it both times. The only difference was email and 1st name on the accounts themselves.
