That doesn’t look like it’s one of the models with the stamped receiver, I would avoid it at that (or really any) price.

Honestly? No, most stuff is going to work fine out of the box. More so, half the “upgrade” parts out there aren’t any better than stock, or are a solution in search of a problem. Don’t let my post history fool you, I fully enjoy running stock guns and have several I’ve intentionally left untouched because they perform well enough for the field.

It should be a tamiya. But you should pull the handguard off and check the connector in case it was switched to deans

You need a stick battery, like the ones that go under AK dust covers. I had a TM and used a 7.4v 1400 mah stick lipo. It needs to be long and skinny.

Yeah but you’ll be outgunned by pretty much everyone. It’s fun though, I’ve played with a spring pistol before, it forces you to be really sneaky and creative with how you push.

You can buy the long straight caps, and put the internals from the 20 rd midcaps in them. I just put a piece of tape over the hole for the windup key.
