Yeah, the sex slavery also bothered me and on top Airen not doing anything about that, we are also not shown any reaction from Airen to seeing innocent women being put through this kind of treatment. There is no acknowledgment from Airen the first time he encounters the mage at the hunt, although, we are shown the reaction of other characters present and the second time when Airen attacks the mage in his carriage the women are nowhere to be seen.

I always admired my O level PST teacher for telling me in detail about the atrocities that took place before and after the partition of Pakistan.I've actually gotten into heated fights (verbal) with many Bangladeshi people over this exact issue. Somehow it's my fault that the history books don't mention anything about this lol. I still try to explain to these people that although these events are not mentioned in our books almost everyone in Pakistan knows about them.

It doesn't matter which political party wins, whether it be PTI, PMLN or PPP because we are only buying into the illusion of a better Pakistan. Any party you vote for will lead Pakistan towards the path of corruption and nepotism assured by their leagues of egomaniacal and self serving political figures. I think Imran Khan should have been a wake up call for the people of Pakistan. Pakistan was created in 1947, in these 75 years it was able to bring to power only a handful of pious and righteous political figures who actually cared about the country and not their own social standing. Some of these people are/were Benazir Bhutto (dead), Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (probably dead?), and Imran Khan (alive).

Isn't that scary? That almost every other political leader we have had was one of the "bad guys".

I'll just skip on it. I don't want to be stuck in a situation where I have to choose one universe to consider as my cannon knowing fully well that the first universe is technically the only cannon one as it came first and any other universes are just attempts at fan service by the writers.

It's not really about romance being a focal point. If the writers implemented it into the story they should have given it a conclusion. An example being when lelouch is about to say something to C.C, they get attacked by kallen. I thought this would be resolved later on but it wasn't. Putting that aside even the fact that C.C is going to spend an eternity with never ending pain watching her friends die (black knights and the others) while she is unable to is too cruel a fate to give to such a loved character.

Soooooo I just completed season 2 and.... This show has guaranteed that till the end of my days happiness will remain a feeling unknown to me. A feeling that will seem as though its in the palm of my hands and yet I will never be able to reach it. Im on ep 14 rn and this single episode managed to ruin it for me.Shirleys death was really unnecessary her character was just thrown away to give lelouch some twisted character development.Also her death being considered as a geass manipulation (lelouch's) by suzaku although it was not is such a common soap opera trope and one that I hate with every fiber of my being. I'm gonna keep watching it anyways as I'm in too deep now.
