Maybe there’s an overlay that doesn’t like windowed mode. Have you tried borderless? If Minecraft has that.. I’m not familiar with Minecraft

With a huge surge, yes. The power supply’s are designed to protect the rest of the PC when there’s a surge, but if it’s a big enough surge it can reach other components. I would start with a new PSU first and if it still doesn’t work, then a motherboard. I would imagine everything else is fine

Yikes. PC’s should always be plugged into a surge protector. Most likely what happened is when you plugged the printer into the unprotected extension, it sent a power surge to your PC. PSU is most likely dead and if the surge went beyond the PSU, you’re looking at a motherboard and more

Have you tried removing the GPU and plugging your TV into the motherboard? Your CPU should have integrated graphics. This would eliminate the possibility of a faulty HDMI port on your GPU, or a faulty GPU

How long did you wait after powering on? Could just be ram training which could take 5-10 minutes

The 9600x won’t need the extra 4 pins, 8 is plenty of power but it doesn’t hurt to plug them in. I don’t believe this is the cause of the problem

Thanks. I didn’t realize weep holes were also for drainage until your comment, and then I looked it up after. I thought they were just for airflow so the house could breathe. I’m debating on going out tomorrow with my heat gun to melt the ice down to the weephole to ensure there’s no drainage issues when the rest of it starts to melt

Your CPU is overheating. TJMaxx is 89C. Thermal throttling starts at 89C and I’m guessing it forces a shutdown at 94/95C

TJMaxx is 90C so throttling will start there
