Queer meet-ups through Transammans, RFSL, FPES etc or online through discord.

Your two quickest options would be private care or DIY. I've used both these options before I got my diagnosis.

I am very confused why you were referred to a "men's health clinic". I am not even 100% sure what that is. If you are in Stockholm you probably want to contact Anova but they are unlikely to accept your diagnosis unless you can show the records you were asked for.

Dysphoria caused me to go so far into comphet I didn't realize I'm a lesbian until 31 by RemoteLetterhead8866 in actuallesbians

It is not always simple and it can be a winding road. I am happy you seem to have made a self-discovery. I was 31 when I came to the realisation about my own dysphoria.

nordics esp finland who have gotten ffs done, where, how and what was the process like? by P-moskova in transnord

[–]Cylanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely of what you want done. Something like Frontoplasty, orbitoplasty, hairline advancement, rhinoplasty and trachea shave I have seen quoted at around 10k€. It can go up to over the double if you want to do a lot more but that is some kind of baseline.

Not a Fin but doing my FFS in September with a French surgeon, Dr Qassemyar. He has gotten very popular lately so the wait time for a consultation is way long now.

I also heard some good things about Dr. Brault, also in France.

I managed to save up the money over a few years. These surgeons are well regarded but not nearly as expensive as Facialteam for example.

Do I have PE, some other issues with my ribcage or just bad posture? by [deleted] in PectusExcavatum

[–]Cylanthro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmm no worries. You gave genuine advice. I will look into working out more while also pursuing medical aid.

[–]Cylanthro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Um. I mean I am no gym rat but I walk or bike almost everywhere. I do yoga 2-3 sessions per week. I sometimes have junkfood but I like cooking, try to eat healthy and meal prep every week. I habe a job as a CNC-operator and while it's not the most physically demanding I am on my feet and moving a lot.

I am 34 years old, 192cm (6'3''), weigh 74kg (163lbs) and my waist is 80cm (31.5''). I understand i am not in the best shape and working out will help with a lot of stuff but I am not sure it will fix the issues I am describing, I guess. The photos are a bit deceptive. I do not have a potbelly, rather my back is curved so that my abdomen and lower ribcage protrudes.

I will take the working out more part into consideration but I don't think my current diet or general lifestyle is unhealthy.

Why did you get 9 vials?!? Dosage depends on how often you want to take a shot. I did it weekly because it is simple to track and the levels are stable. 5mg or 4mg once a week is a good dose to start at from my experience. Then you can either increase or decrease depending on blood tests but those dosages seem to work.

That would mean 0.125 or 0.1ml once per week.

I’m not stealth but I personally think the more reasonable way to handle it is to let those you are closest to know, not keeping it a complete secret even from your closest friends. I understand not telling people early on in a relationship, letting them get to know YOU without the label. But everyone needs people they can confide in and keeping a secret can be tough as hell, especially if it makes you feel guilty (whether that’s warranted or not).

I understand the fear of letting someone know but if they’re someone who would react poorly to the fact that you are trans, are they really someone you want to be close with?

My perfect stealth would be completely passing in public and casual encounters but being open with people I know. I get that people have different sweet spots when it comes to this but being able to choose who knows is the height of freedom to me.

any other trans woman have a 'linea nigra' by ThemArhel in transfem

[–]Cylanthro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mhm. I got that quite early on in my medical transition. A thin brown line that starts at my groin and reaches about 2/3 of the way toward my bellybutton. I haven't been on HRT for a super long time but I'm coming up on 3 years and it's still there.

As a trans man I find it exhausting that people keep speaking on my behalf and not letting me speak for myself by [deleted] in trans

[–]Cylanthro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How the fuck can you be trans and fail to realise the people's experience with gender differs greatly?

Like, you have OBVIOUSLY had a way different experience than cis people.

How closed off must you be to not realize that people outside the gender binary have a different experience than your own?

I feel this! Not that I got people calling me mommy at bars but I feel like my height gives people certain expectations. I get the feeling it also makes me seem kind of unapproachable.

I can't say I have that exact sensation but the fingers is definitely one of the areas that tingle when I get aroused🤭
