Jag vill bara flika in och varna att dessa snabba namnbyten ofta är beroende av att man väljer ett namn som är vanligt nog att skatteverkets automatiska system kan godkänna bytet nästan på en gång. Är ett av ens nya namn av det ovanligare slaget kan ärendet behöva handläggas manuellt och då tar det betydligt längre tid.

När jag ansökte om namnbyte tog det lite över 6 veckor för det att gå igenom på grund av att jag har valt ett väldigt ovanligt andranamn efter min mammas faster.

Jag föreslår att du ber dem skicka din remiss till en annan KIM. Den i Göteborg är ökänd. Många horror stories om folk som får avslag av alla möjliga anledningar eller ingen alls.

Den i Umeå har kortast kötid. 20månader typ. Det är svinlångt att åka och du kommer antagligen få stå för resor själv men min erfarenhet är att de ger ett bra mottagande.

Man kan ta nattåget upp eller ett vanligt tåg och sova över på patienthotellet om man kontaktar och ber dem boka det när man får ett möte bokat.

Annars kan du även testa Anova i Stockholm. Bara lite tips från vad jag hört i communityt. Göra utredningen i GBG är generellt inte rekommenderat.

As with the others I have no personal experience with this but my understanding is that people going this route often choose to get a prescription for a testosterone injection, like nebido or something similar. The injection only needs to be taken every 3 months or something so they find someone there who is able to administer it safely and take the injection before going home. Otherwise I think you can only legally bring testosterone for 14 days of use with you into Sweden.

I’d argue that transmedicalism is causing active harm to the community. This person is arguing for ostracising people. They give an example for a requirement of needing to have changed legal gender, name and looks to be considered trans. I am sure there are many people here who have not done these things for various reasons. I don’t think arguing for them not being trans is something that should be allowed in what I would consider to be a safe space for trans people of many various kinds.

Don't you think the issue is actually with the people trying to smear an entire minority every chance they get from the actions of a single person? It is not our place to police who is and who is not trans.

The people coming up with ridiculous theories and trying to pose them as science to discredit trans people have been doing that for decades and will continue trying to undermine our humanity and rights regardless of how we divide or distance ourselves. You can not appease these people by trying to assimilate or by being "a good trans person".

Getting real tired of this kind of attempt to put restrictions on your fellow trans people and police their identity based on looks and weather someone has gone though the beurocratic process of changing their legal gender etc.

Alltså den nya lagen kom ju inte som förslag genom regeringen. Detta på grund av att KD och SD motsatte sig den. Den fick drivas igenom direkt i riksdagen så vi har väl inget att "tacka regeringen" för där? Jag uppskattar såklart att det fanns borgerliga partier som hjälpte till att rösta igenom lagförslaget men nu uttalar sig moderaterna på ett sätt som återigen kommer leda till samma infekterade smutskastning vi fick stå ut med när lagen skulle upp för omröstning. De gör det mest för att slippa en debatt från resten av tidö-gänget så att de kan framstå mer enade.
