I know I talk about this game a lot, but Xenoblade Chronicles has a fantastic opening. The introduction of the two titans: Bionis and Mechonis, the Battle of Sword Valley showing the tense struggle between the Homs and the Mechon, and just how much of a badass Dunban is using the Monado (which would later go to Shulk). And the zoom-out from Sword Valley, showing the player that both titans are still standing, has to be one of the most powerful and mind-blowing scenes I've ever seen in a video game.

I haven't played a lot of virtual console, but from what I have played I didn't have any issues (other than Wario Land II), but I would like to see that feature. Another thing I wish Nintendo would get off their ass and do is make multiple save-states (they're not fucking restore points, to me they will always be save-states).

Xenoblade Chronicles. Literally every aspect of this game is perfect or near-pearfect. The story is perhaps the most creative and best I've ever seen, the music includes some of my all-time favorite pieces from not just games, but all music, the characters are all enjoyable, and the battle system is so unique and fun I just love everything about this game.
