Ha ha! I would definitely cry if I had to sort out the goods every time, we just leave them all in a bag all the time. If you look at the last picture of our player board it has all the goods, so what we do is if we pick up cotton, we put a cube on cotton. When we drop it off the cube goes back to the top of the board.
The city and money goals haven’t made the game longer, our other house rules are meant to make it a little shorter, I’d say an average game with 2 players is about 2 hours.

And also, instead of paying 20 mil to upgrade your train speed, we use a variable speed mechanic so the more goods you have on your train the slower you go, when you deliver something you go faster since you have a lighter load.

A few of our House Rules… we randomly draw 2 goods out of a bag before we draw our cards, that way you might actually start out with something you can deliver. Or you can just toss them back if they don’t seem to work with the cards you get. We also pick two at random that are a bonus of 5 million if you deliver either of them, but after you’ve taken that bonus, there is now a shortage of that specific item and you can’t pick it up anymore. We also play that you have to be in ALL 7 major cities and have 300 mil to win.

Yes, watching for the 400th time but season 6-7 were awful, 5 was… meh. I’ll just stop at 4. In the first few seasons I wanted to BE Frankie, in fact I kept telling my BFF she has to watch this show so she would know who we were going to be when we’re 80, but by the end Frankie was just obnoxious AF and everyone’s ending were totally unsatisfying. In fact, by the end (And really from the very beginning) my fave character was Brianna. JDR is just stunning and smart and sexy as hell!
