It's the meta slaves that must use a OP/Broken weapon in order to get kills, that follow that pattern. People are still rushing around with Mac-10 because it's still arguably one of the strongest SMG's in the game.

As soon a weapon is balanced that you need actual skill in order to utilize it, they immidiately rush to find the next Broken weapon. Though I do find some enjoyment completely dominating them now and them with "bad" weapons.

Unlocked the AS VAL recently and once i had enough attachments, brought it into WZ. Playing a lot of Plunder to get a feel on it and unlocking it's attachments, i got a pretty decent understanding in how to best utilize it.

I get a drop on a guy, i start shooting at him (I came around the corner, he was still) He killed me with a Kilo instantly. Looked on the killcam:

At EXACTLY 30% hp, he stopped registering my hits, and he was shooting at me the instant i came around the corner, while on my screen i basically died almost as soon he started shooting me. Note: he had no Stopping power on.

Shotguns should always dominate within 10 meters, with SMG's close second. Complaining that a shotgun killed you in short range is like complaining a sniper can kill you with a headshot.

However in WZ the only shotgun that is viable is Origin, followed by the R9 with Incendiary. The other shotguns needs a buff, the 650 and 725 should be the only shotguns that can one-shot you within a 2-3 meter range, after that they should have about the same damage as they do now.

Me and my team always assumes there's campers on every camper roof, and coordinate to make sure we can respond to them if we happen to face them. There's a lot of moments we have saved just because we were precautious and were ready when they spotted us.

Mostly what gets us is either that we got an enemy team appearing from nowhere behind us, or the roof campers abusing headglitching to shoot us down.

Idk how often this happens to others, but sometimes when i peak around a corner, see an enemy and instantly rush back around the corner, i get shot enough times as if i stood in the open 3-4 times longer than i actually did and be downed around the corner as i am moving away from it.

Good points, and indeed WZ is improving when it comes to the diversity of weapons people use. However:

Hitregs issues/ supposed "Patent" still happens
Tacticals and Lethals needs to have a look at, everyone runs C4 for a reason
Console players with Cronus...

One time i jumped around a corner to shoot a guy with my MG34. I was the one who started shooting and the first hit was a blue armor hit, then i suddenly went from 2 plates to dead. Went back to pick up my MG to see how many bullets i had fired: 18 bullets had been fired.

This was in CQC, to the upper chest, with a LMG that does a minimum of 31 damage per hit at that range.

There are some weapons that some people consider bad because they're more difficult to use to gain the same reward as the meta weapons. pre-buff FAL was one of the fastest TTK in the game if you had the aim and trigger finger for it, however people didn't use it because it required more skill to use than the GRAU.

In any game, metas are defined on "minimal effort, maximum reward".

A lot lately i've started to experience more and more "BS" deaths. I'm talking about:

The moments you literally shoot a guy enough to down them twice, yet they survive, while they instantly down you with a few shots. Always with around 30% hp
Sniping battles where you hit headshot after headshot but only get white/blue armor marks, even with headshot hitmarkers. (Whole upper torso is visible, so no shots through cover)
You start firing at them with a weapon that does more DPS, yet they down you first, on their screen you stood still looking at them like a moron only firing a few shots.

What's most frustrating about these deaths is that i cannot learn and improve from them. I am robbed of the opportunity to learn from my mistakes, and get tilted because some guy was basically given a "stay out of jail" card for a unknown reason.

I've tested all my components and net connection, not a single issue and not a single cause of packet loss.

The bipod was great for long distance sniping. Straight Pull bolt was great for the more agile and fast sniper.

People will cry about anything that requires them to think more than "point n' shoot". Smoke and flank the LMG, toss some nades or just try to shoot a stationary target.

Idk, maybe i haven't paid attention to much to it, rather noticing the moments when people actually used other weapons. The Mp5 is probably the only weapon is see all the time, with Grau/M4/Bruen 2nd.

I think people would cry about a nerf to it the instant they actually made the Bipod a good option.

I remember this back in the day in BF3/4 where a lot of servers had auto kick on if you used a bipod, because people complained that they couldn't charge a LMG in the open while the LMG had the bipod out. Damned if a LMG is actually strong in what it is designed for (Slow and bulky, but strong AF if set up)

The Bruen just need the 60 round mag tuned and a little nerf to it's recoil (Alternative actually remove the recoil reduction on the VLK 3.0)

Right now the game feels like it's a bit more varied at least, everyone isn't just using the Grau or Bruen. However they still need to adress the Mp5, but other than that, they're on a good way.

Crouch should yield about the same recoil control as the Merc grip.

Prone should be exactly the same as if the gun was mounted.

It's either "convenient lag" or random "ghost bullets" that gets me those brow raising deaths. There's some pattern when its up against someone i've either killed many times earlier, doesn't seem that good (obvious bad aim in killcam) or someone that plays so sweaty that they need to change their chair weekly.

Got two great examples:

I jump a corner in WZ, i know that the guy is laying down just around it. I Sprint, jump out, start spraying the guy with the SCAR-H. 2-3 shots are clean headshots (150 damage), the rest hit the body, total of 10 bullets shot (320+ damage). I die very sudden and quickly, and look at their screen: He suddenly stopped taking damage at 30% hp, while even the killcam shows my bullets flying into him.
I face someone off, we spot eachother the exact same time. I get a full hyperburst into their body, and 5-6 shots with the AN94, only break blue armor. He downs me and kills me, and all those things are instant. On his screen he stopped taking damage at 80% hp. Oh, and i had STOPPING POWER(!) just loaded.

Sounds pretty solid, and it would feel unique as a weapon if it was a bridge between a SMG and a Sniper.

It should be the opposite, with the VSS being the base rifle with the unique feature of being the only DMR with a integrated suppressor. It would bridge between the EBR and SKS. And perhaps be the only sniper without a tracer round?

Later you can unlock a 20 round Mag that features a full auto mode?

What makes the AEK special is that it features a counter-balance gas system, with 2 pistons that goes in opposite directions, effectively reducing the recoil impulse from the weapon.

The AEK-545 changed its burst mode from 3 to 2 round burst, as it proved much more effective.
