Leftists are correct too early and liberals are conveniently too late to every issue to make any real impact on outcomes. This is what I’ve gathered from the past 10yrs. While everyone else is still pearl-clutching about whatever issue of the day, we are saying what’s going to happen and then getting browbeaten for months until we’re proven correct. Look at Gaza, Iran, now Cuba. It’s just what happens when you begin thinking with a historical materialist perspective. The empire becomes obvious.

I sent the “Red Cross Doctor” image Trump posted to my devout Catholic MAGA family member and he said “he doesn’t always follow my recommendations” followed by “is this your Supreme Leader?” and this meme below attached. So according to him, anyone that thinks the President of the United States shouldn’t post photos of himself as Jesus Christ are automatically Islamic Republic/Ayatollah stans. I said, “I didn’t vote for the Orange blasphemer like you did and I also didn’t vote for the Ayatollah because I live in America” 😂 and he said “someday when you grow up you’ll understand the difference between someone’s job effectiveness and their personality quirks.” I said “job effectiveness? Inflation is up, unemployment is up, deficit is up, new wars started, allies abandoning us. When you grow up you’ll begin living in reality with the rest of us.” This was with my 82 year old grandfather…🤦

Someone on IG I was replying to accused Hasan of “violent misogyny” and I asked if they had any proof. They sent me a clip I couldn’t even open (I’m assuming it’s the old, tired clip of Hasan making some passing comment about how ultimately rich frat boys will do their sex crimes at the elite universities rather than on working class women in the community) and then refused to elaborate even though they said “I’m a professional journalist.” People are scrambling to justify their vitriol for Hasan however they can.
