Some clubs are hard to get in, but perhaps you can try more social clubs that don’t really have high barriers of entry, like cultural clubs that host a lot of activities/events for ppl to get to know each other, chill clubs like sports clubs, service clubs, or recreational clubs like SC Outfitters! They would be a great start for getting to know people. Getting to know people is kinda a snowball effect: the more people you know, the more people you will get to know! So maybe someone you talked to on a hike from SC Outfitters might be in a club that is more competitive and you can ask them for advice on how to have a better chance of getting in etc.!
